I was startled awake this Christmas morning just as the sky was starting to dawn to a voice in the spirit yelling,
“WAKE UP CALL! Sexual Purity is a mandatory requirement for a believer in Christ!”
If you are a hearer only and not a doer, you are not a believer, but a deceived one. (James 1:22) God is not mocked. What you Sow, you will Reap. (Gal 6:7) It is the deceived who try to outwardly look and act like the wheat but are truly tares that will be reaped and burned up when the fire of God’s judgment comes first to the house of the LORD. (Matt 13:30,1 Pet 4:17). The wheat bows their heads under the weight of humility and obedience. Tares stand tall and proudly stiff-necked, refusing to bow their hearts to the LORD in worship.
God promises that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 Jn 1:9) However, He also warns those who have been healed and shown mercy, “Go and sin NO MORE, lest a worse thing come upon you!” (Jn 5:14)
Why? To continue in a known sin, thinking God’s forgiveness will keep coming and coming and coming while we refuse to repent (change our thinking and therefore our actions) is deception. The scriptures warn us that if we trample upon the blood of His covenant and the Spirit of His grace, we can only expect the wrath of God to fall upon us because vengeance belongs to Him. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of a living God. (Heb 10:26-31)
Merry Christmas, folks. God’s gift to you this year is the opportunity to humble yourself and repent and plumbline to His word BEFORE the purifying fire falls upon His House. The clock is ticking!
Participating in any form of sexual perversion as per the biblical definition of perversion and NOT culture’s while declaring you’re a Christian, means you are deceived. And if you are deceived (also known as beguiled or bewitched), you open yourself up to a Python spirit that will choke out true heart-felt prayer and praise and lifestyle worship, often replacing it with empty, powerless religiosity in its place with the weary, depressed victim none the wiser. (*Here’s a link for self-deliverance of Python – Prayer-To-Cast-Out-The-Python-Spirit.pdf)
Now, with every warning, there is always a blessing for those who walk in repentance and obedience. So, what was it? I didn’t receive it for part 1 but it doesn’t mean that it wasn’t there, I simply had to keep seeking. Kind of like when Jesus was walking on the water during the storm that had the disciples terrified. He was willing to walk right past them but because they were looking, He turned aside to them and spoke with them. (Mk 6:48-51)
Yesterday as I pondered it throughout the day, I eventually saw the word “Barn” light up and lift off the page. The tares are destined for fire, much like the dross purged from silver during a purifying fire and the dirt scrubbed out with laundry soap (Mal 3:1-4), but the wheat is gathered into the BARN. (Matt 13:30) Two angles were highlighted with this verse. On the individual level, each person can have both wheat and tares in their own field of life. Then there’s a corporate angle where you can have true believers and the deceived sitting side by each in a church pew. So then begged the question, is there anything we can do to position ourselves to A) discern the difference between wheat and tares and B) intentionally prepare for the increase of wheat and reduction of tares, both as individuals and as those with influence in those around us?
A word search through the scriptures for “Barn” highlighted Proverbs 3, primarily the first 10 verses (but all of them are worth meditating on!).
Proverbs 3:1-10 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: 2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. 3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: 4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. 5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. 8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. 9 Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: 10 SO SHALL THY BARNS BE FILLED WITH PLENTY, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
In short, the way to have your barns filled with plenty of wheat is encapsulated in verse 1 – “My Son, forget not my law; but let thine HEART keep my commandments.” Note it doesn’t say, listen to His commandments while someone reads them to you and let them go in one ear and out the other with the speed of a Concorde jet. Nor does it say give mental ascent to His commandments while continuing to live a lawless life. Jesus clearly warned that those who are lawless will be commanded to depart from Him because he doesn’t know them. (Matt 7:21-23; 1 Jn 2:3-5) And if you don’t know Him, you don’t have eternal life no matter what any church minister has taught you. (John 17:3) The scripture alone MUST be our plumbline, not what any mere human teaches.
So, what are the blessings of being a Wheat?
– Long life
– Peace
– Adorned with mercy and truth
– Favour with God and man
– Good understanding with God and man
– Trust in the LORD
– God’s direction for your paths.
– Humility
– Fear of the LORD
– Departure from evil
– Healthy body
– Healthy blood & immune system (primarily created in your bone marrow)
– Plenty in our storehouses
– The squeezes of life will release fresh wine instead of sewage upon those around you.
On a bunny trail, many prophets have released words about God’s favor increasing. They have also talked much about the Fear of the LORD and a coming increase in spiritual understanding. I’ve observed that many prophets release words in parable form but don’t appear to have understanding of what they’re actually releasing, because most of them have grown up in a church culture that ignores God’s commandments or teach them only to be obeyed in the natural realm, unaware of how they apply in the Spirit of the Law. If you want to position yourself to be one of those who walk in God’s supernatural favor and understanding, you will need to come into alignment with the requirement to receive it. It’s NOT automatic! Just because a prophet releases a word to a congregation or to the online community, it doesn’t necessarily mean it APPLIES to everyone that reads/hears it. The majority of prophetic words are conditional. Case in point – If Mary had not kept herself sexually pure, she would have not qualified to be the mother of Jesus because the condition was that he was to be born of a virgin. (Is 7:14) The key to increased favor/understanding = forget not His law, but keep His commandments in your heart, which is the beginning of developing the Fear of the LORD in your life. (Deut 6:1-3; 10:12-13)
