Imagine someone handing you a box of puzzle pieces without the lid nor knowing whether it’s 500 or 1000 pieces then dumping it out on the table. Then as time goes by, you are handed a few other pieces that fell out of the box in transit. You can see pieces of the picture but until it all clicks together, the picture is unclear. I call this newest puzzle The Potter’s Vessel. The picture is still unfolding so this will probably go out in stages as I make sense of what I have been given. And who knows? Maybe you will be able to see how some of the pieces click together because you’re on the opposite side of the table and what is upside down to me is right side up to you!
On Wednesday, June 6th, we had a hospitality family from the states come stay with us for a couple of nights. They do not move in the prophetic realms yet when he handed me the sports section of the newspaper that he brought from the USA for me, I took notice. Based on my experience of hosting international guests for almost 15 years, I have never received a thank you gift of just the sports section of a foreign country’s newspaper. Therefore, my spiritual antennae went up that somewhere in that newspaper from June 5th was a clue from the LORD. Managing a house for 14 hungry mouths can get a little hectic at times so I laid the paper aside without looking at it and carried on with getting supper on the table.
On Monday, June 11, 2018, a friend came over for a meal. We were shredding paper for my worm farm and she noticed the paper buried on my counter. When she picked it up, she said, “We can’t rip this one up. There’s a message in here.” Oh, yes. The one I had forgotten to search for. Sure enough, the front page article, “Pharaoh’s Triple Crown impact hard to gauge.” Pharaoh in this case is “American Pharaoh”, a horse. He won the 12th Triple Crown title in 2015 at Belmont. The article was focusing mainly on the Pharaoh’s impact on revenues and the horse-racing economy. Bel is another spelling for Ba’al. Mont is another spelling for Mount, or mountain. 12 = the number for authority. The high place of Ba’al where Pharaoh rules.
On Tuesday, the 12th, she sent me a video clip of a horse race for the Triple Crown 2018 where Justify won first place, Restoring Hope got 5th, and Tenfold got 7th place. I don’t follow sports but prophetically this message was impossible to ignore, even if I did not have the complete interpretation of it yet. This was 3 years after Pharaoh received his Triple Crown. There were 10 plagues of Egypt (tenfold) but after the first 3 that landed on all people, the land of Goshen was spared the rest of the plagues. Come out from Babylon, my people and receive not of her judgments.
Now jump back to September 2017 when I sent out an alert a request to join me in a prayer drive around Niagara Falls, in part to intercede and do spiritual warfare regarding the spirit of Pharaoh the LORD was highlighting. The route that was highlighted just so happened to be 77 km. I drove 6 laps but the day I was to do the 7th lap, I was hit so hard with oppression manifesting with dizziness and fatigue that I felt I couldn’t drive safely. I found out the following week at a prayer meeting that a lady I did not know from a different city was impressed to drive to and around Niagara Falls on the day I did not go out. She drove the very route God had highlighted to me, commanding the exact same words – “Pharaoh, let my people go.” The other significant themes were the same for both of us – confessing the spiritual and governmental leaders’ sins that had polluted the land as well as interceding over the blood crying out from our ground.
Last year although I don’t recall exactly when, I was burdened to pray through our church regarding the spirit of Babylon. Lightning River, a worship flag, was commissioned in the spirit, created in exactly 72 hrs with a picture of a water spout (like a tornado, only water) with lightning flashing out of it stitched free-motion style into the middle of the flag, and handed to a guest speaker from Haiti. Now again this week, the theme of “Come out of Babylon” is coming up yet again. From what I have been able to figure out thus far (and feel free to provide more info if you have it), Babylon refers to false religion. They worshipped a god that was far off, with a lot of religious tradition but no personal relationship. Much like Phariseeism. Sounds like a lot of Christian churches that I have attended throughout my life. A lot of lip service and entertainment hype but the hearts of the people for the most part are far from God because their hearts are heavy with sin. If you LOVE Me [with your heart], keep My commandments. I suspect most church goers do not know what sin is because they haven’t been taught God’s commandments. The people perish for a lack of knowledge. “The Law has been done away with! We have Jesus now!” (often misquoting Matt 5:17-20). The problem with this doctrine is that Jesus clearly preached, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” The Law is the tutor to know what sin is so we know what to repent of. If he had done away with the Law, we wouldn’t need to repent of something that has been eliminated, now would we? He paid the PENALTY of the curse of the law. (Gal 3:13) He warned the prophetic people and deliverance ministers that those who did not know (ginosko) Him to depart from Him BECAUSE they were workers of iniquity (workers of lawlessness – those who disobeyed God’s commandments). (Luke 13:27).
Ok, back to the puzzle pieces. A couple weeks ago, I obeyed a vision to prayer walk around our church property. As I sought the LORD for understanding of various words that came up during that time, He explained that the water tables would rise and reactivate a dry well that had been covered over. If certain actions happened BEFORE the well was reactivated, it would cause significant financial loss to the church. Symbolic or literal, I am not yet clear.
As I was explaining this to my friend who saw the Pharaoh newspaper clip, she shared her own vision from a couple weeks ago that an earthquake would rip the bedrock of Niagara Falls/river bed down the middle all the way back to Fort Erie, causing the water to go into a deep crevasse instead of flowing along the surface over the beautiful Niagara Falls. If this was interpreted literally instead of figuratively, it would make sense how that would cause the water tables to rise in the region. Those who rely on surface water will endure a drought but those who have taken the time to dig deep wells will continue to have leaves that never fade.
American Pharaoh is a horse.
– Psalm 20:7 – Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. Isaiah 31:1 – Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the Lord!
– Isaiah 30:1-3 – Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin: 2 That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt! 3 Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.
Now, if you follow down Isaiah 30, the judgment that shall befall the rebellious children of Israel (those who say Almighty God is their God and accept Jesus as their covenantal blood sacrifice but they refuse to live by the rest of His covenant) is listed in part in Isaiah 30:13 – 14:
– Isaiah 30:13-14 – “Therefore this iniquity shall be to you as a breach ready to fall, swelling out in a high wall, whose breaking cometh suddenly at an instant. 14 And he shall break it as the breaking of the potters’ vessel that is broken in pieces; he shall not spare: so that there shall not be found in the bursting of it a sherd to take fire from the hearth, or to take water withal out of the pit.”
These verses caught my attention because at the Niagara Now intercessors prayer meeting in October 2017, I was given the opportunity to take the mic and release a vision that I had seen during the prayer meeting. There was a bulging dam holding back stagnant water. The cross of Christ was ramming the dam wall, finally breaching the wall that caused the pressure built up to destroy the dam in an instant and restore the flow of waters. At that prayer meeting, I had showed two pictures of something I saw earlier that day during the prayer drive that the LORD kept highlighting…
1) I was informed the first was a capped well down by the Falls.
2) The second were the remains of pillars to an abandoned gate.
The second part of that verse seemed so familiar but I couldn’t put my finger on it. That’s when you turn to Google for assistance. Revelation 2:20-28 – about the church of Thyatira tolerating the false prophet Jezebel. Rev 2:26-27 confirms that it will be those who overcome Jezebel and keepth God’s works until the end “shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. 28 And I will give him the morning star. 29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.” (I guess this is why we need those Q-tips God is handing out to clean out our dull ears!)
Another cross-reference for breaking the potter’s vessel was found in Jeremiah 19. What stood out was that Jeremiah confronted the ancients of the people and the ancients of the priests and broke it before them because they had forsaken the God they claim to worship, having estranged this place, and burned incense in it unto other gods, whom neither they nor their fathers had known, nor the kings of Judah, and had filled this place with the blood of innocents. Connection here to the prayer drive, interceding for the blood that cried out.
When you look up “Potter” in Bible Hub, one of the unusual meanings for that verse is actually covenant / contract. So which Potter are you being shaped by – The God of Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob or a denominational/church covenant? Whose laws are you abiding by? God isn’t into polygamy. He doesn’t approve of adultery, as Israel was so often disciplined for.
In Jeremiah 19:5, it talks about building high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which God had not commanded. This reminded me of the strange fire present in the fire tunnel at Dwelling Place in January 2018, that at least 5 others saw also. The leadership was duly informed so they could confront it.
It is interesting to discover that Fireman’s Park, the new location for Dwelling Place church, is at an elevation of 201m, which is second highest spot in Niagara Falls. The other one is down on Drummond Road, just north of Lundy’s Lane at 212m. That just so happens to be where the Battle Ground Hotel Museum / Battlefield Park is! http://en-ca.topographic-map.com/places/Niagara-Falls-567393/ Is it coincidence that a battle was fought in the natural at a high place in the city?
Jeremiah 19:10-11 describes breaking the potter’s vessel and the judgment that prophetic act releases.
– Jeremiah 19:10-11 – “ 10 Then shalt thou break the bottle in the sight of the men that go with thee, 11 And shalt say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Even so will I break this people and this city, as one breaketh a potter’s vessel, that cannot be made whole again: and they shall bury them in Tophet, till there be no place to bury.”
Verse 15b explains WHY this judgment had to fall. “because they have hardened their necks, that they might not hear my words.” Judgment fell because they refused to repent.
On June 14, 2018, my 6 yr old son was reading Ezra 10 when it jumped out that Ezra and the people repented of their sin and put away the pagan wives & children that had joined themselves to the priests. We are kings and priests through Jesus Christ. Jezebel was a pagan wife to Israel’s King Ahab, which brought judgment upon the land. Solomon also took pagan wives that led the Israelites into idolatry and judgment. The church must repent of joining herself with the Jezebel spirit. Failure to do so will result in God divorcing the pagan churches and their children.
On June 15, 2018, my son was reading Nehemiah 9 to our family. We were following along with my phone bible plan, so when I have an “computer glitch” of jumping ahead or repeating the same reading multiple days in a row, I know God is trying to get my attention. I had one of those sledgehammer-between-the-eyes moments. The beginning of the chapter starts out again with the people confessing their sin and repenting. Nehemiah 9:26-27 explains why they got to the point of needing to repent.
– Nehemiah 9:26-27 – “26Nevertheless they were disobedient, and rebelled against thee, and cast thy law behind their backs, and slew thy prophets which testified against them to turn them to thee, and they wrought great provocations. 27 Therefore thou deliveredst them into the hand of their enemies, who vexed them: and in the time of their trouble, when they cried unto thee, thou heardest them from heaven; and according to thy manifold mercies thou gavest them saviours, who saved them out of the hand of their enemies.”
This was the 5 negative stages paralleling to Hezekiah’s 5 positives (which I released earlier).
1) Disobedience.
2) Rebellion.
3) Defiance that leads to casting God’s commandments/covenant behind their backs and replacing it with other covenants (like denominationalism / church membership covenants)
4) Killing/rejecting the prophets that confront their sin with the intent to extend God’s mercy that draws them to repentance.
5) They continue great provocations which brings judgment.
God provides repentance in two ways – through the goodness of God (Rom 2:4) by sending his prophets with a warning to repent with the people did in 2 Chronicles 29-31, seeking the LORD while there is yet time or through godly sorrow (2 Cor 7:10) when judgment must whip the church for turning God’s temple into a den of thieves. (The thief comes to kill, steal, and destroy.) Remember that God’s temple is our hearts! The thieves are demons we allow to cohabitate in our souls.
John the Baptist said to the Pharisees, “You brood of vipers! Who told you to flee the coming wrath?” He was preaching repentance, which was the key to avoid God’s wrath. Tenfold, the horse, was in 7th place. When the 10 plagues climaxed because of Pharaoh’s continual hard heartedness, Pharaoh suffers godly sorrow when his firstborn son dies. The Israelites that applied blood to their doorways did not suffer judgment. Blood is the payment for sin but it is our responsibility to apply it, not the lamb’s.
Judgment comes in stages. Leviticus 26 is an example of this. You get level 1 discipline. Refuse to repent and He moves to level 2 discipline. Continue to be stubborn and we end up with higher and higher levels of discipline until we either repent of our pride and rebellion and return to God or end up killed. The Father disciplines those he LOVES. The purpose of judgment is to humble their uncircumcised hearts and bring them back to himself. If we voluntarily circumcise our hearts BEFORE judgment lands. we don’t need judgment to humble us.
Leviticus 26:41-42 – 41 And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity: 42 Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.
