It’s Time For The Milk To Be Ejected!

A few moms and I were sharing various downloads we had received over this Shavuot / Christian Pentecost weekend when suddenly I heard, “It’s time for the milk to be ejected!” There many in our community of believers that are either pregnant or have recently given birth to precious babes and all breastfeeding, aligning with the prophetic birthing season we are in, but I felt the LORD had a play on words waiting to be mined.

The definition of the word “EJECT” as per Google:
– force or throw (something) out, typically in a violent or sudden way. Synonym: Spew Out.
– cause (something) to drop out or be removed, usually mechanically. (**as in milk being let down from a milk duct and ejected out the nipple)
– dismiss (someone), especially from political office.
– emit; give off.

What do the Scriptures have to say about milk?

Below are the ones highlighted.

1 Peter 2:1-3 NLT – So get rid of all evil behavior. Be done with all deceit, hypocrisy, jealousy, and all unkind speech. 2 Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a FULL experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment, 3 now that you have had a taste of the Lord’s kindness.

Hebrews 5:11-14 NKJV – 11 of whom we have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. 12 For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the [b]oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. 13 For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. 14 But solid food belongs to those who are [c]of full age, that is, those who by reason of [d]use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Hebrews 6:1-8 NLT – So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again. Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don’t need to start again with the fundamental importance of
[1]repenting from evil deeds[a] and
[2] placing our faith in God. 2 You don’t need further instruction about
[3] baptisms,
[4] the laying on of hands,
[5] the resurrection of the dead, and
[6] eternal judgment.
3 And so, God willing, we will move forward to further understanding. 4 For it is impossible to bring back to repentance those who were once enlightened—those who have experienced the good things of heaven and shared in the Holy Spirit, 5 who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the power of the age to come— 6 and who then turn away from God. It is impossible to bring such people back to repentance; by rejecting the Son of God, they themselves are nailing him to the cross once again and holding him up to public shame. 7 When the ground soaks up the falling rain and bears a good crop for the farmer, it has God’s blessing. 8 But if a field bears thorns and thistles, it is useless. The farmer will soon condemn that field and burn it.

1 Cor 3:1-3 NLT- Dear brothers and sisters,[a] when I was with you I couldn’t talk to you as I would to spiritual people.[b] I had to talk as though you belonged to this world or as though you were infants in Christ. 2 I had to feed you with milk, not with solid food, because you weren’t ready for anything stronger. And you still aren’t ready, 3 for you are still controlled by your sinful nature. You are jealous of one another and quarrel with each other. Doesn’t that prove you are controlled by your sinful nature? Aren’t you living like people of the world?

There were two different angles of understanding that leapt in my spirit:
1) Many long-term believers/leaders SHOULD be teachers but they are unskillful in righteousness and as such will be ejected (spewed out) from their office responsibilities for their lukewarm attitude. They will be replaced by those on fire who ARE skillful in righteousness in order to feed the next generation who desperately need discernment in the growing darkness. James Goll prophesied among many others that this would be a year of “Greater Righteousness”.

2) Those who are mature enough to be producing milk instead of drinking it need to start releasing it to keep alive those who have been birthed in this Passing Over season. The Spiritual Fathers and Mothers need to assume the position and their weighty responsibility so we don’t see a spiritual generation end up being victims of selfish infanticide like their worldly counterparts.

As I pondered the analogy of breastfeeding for the spiritual parents being called to arise and assume their positions, here are some things I’ve learned from breastfeeding my 4 children and watching many of my friends do so also:

1) Breastfeeding in public, even properly covered, is considered offensive by the masses even though soft porn in media advertising is accepted as “normal”. Good is often called evil and evil good. It takes resolve to ignore the offense and carry on without being wounded by people’s hurtful comments.

2) Breastfeeding starts first with colostrum – “liquid gold” – that is full of antibodies and other immune factors, easy to digest, concentrated protein in liquid form, protects the gut, has pre- and probiotics, a thicker consistency enabling easier swallowing, and comes in smaller volumes to assist in learning to coordinate swallowing and breathing. Within the first week or so, the colostrum transitions to mature milk that will change in composition to meet the growing needs of each baby.

3) Breastfeeding takes determination, long-suffering through the initial painful phases of babies learning to latch and suck properly, time commitment, and self-sacrifice. It is NOT for the faint of heart! However, once it is established, it is MUCH easier, faster, portable, and less mentally taxing than bottle-feeding. It’s always fresh, and NEVER goes sour!

4) There will be many opportunities offered to take the “easy way out” of bottle-feeding formula (that isn’t so easy in the long-run).

5) Each child’s feeding pattern and feeding needs and preferred feeding position was different. Some fed on a 1.5 hr feeding cycle despite my best efforts to change it to the professionally touted “every 3 hrs”. Others were closer to 4 hrs. Some fed through the night in order to maintain weight gain and others slept through the night straight out of the gate with adequate growth and milk supply. One self-weaned at 8 months and another at 27 months. Some needed assistance for a season of tube feeding and clipping tongue-ties until they were able to successfully learn to latch. I was responsible to meet THEIR needs however it was required, not try to force them to meet my expectations of how they SHOULD be fed.

6) My reward was the privilege of nurturing them in close communion the way God designed for our bodies to optimally function and watching them grow. I didn’t get offended when they demanded to be fed with nothing to give me in return (beyond a spit up or a dirty diaper!) or when they didn’t show gratitude beyond displaying a sleepy, contented belly. Breastmilk is FREE! It’s formula that requires payment for hire.

7) There comes a day when we WANT them to progress onto solid food and provide safe opportunities to explore their budding chewing abilities, expecting ongoing advancement until they are fully on adult food. Only a mom can breastfeed, but older children are capable of assisting with spoon feeding and helping to cut up larger pieces of food and cleaning up messes.

8) For many in the season of breastfeeding, they discover it is a natural form of birth control. While one baby is being heavily nourished, our bodies will hold off from bearing more fruit until such time that weaning is close or complete. Therefore, we do NOT want to be exclusively breastfeeding a single child for years upon years if we want to be fruitful and multiply.

9) It IS possible to breastfeed a newborn and a toddler or twins with different growth needs at the same time, with different breasts producing the right milk composition and quantity required for each child.

10) There is no possible way for a successful breastfeeding mom to remain in bondage to a spirit of slumber no matter how much she desires to sleep. A baby’s cries (and often a mere sound of stirring) will always wake her up if her engorged milk factories don’t wake her first!

The Ecclesia has crossed over from pregnancy to birthing to now it’s time for the milk to be ejected! Hang on for the ride as we shift responsibilities with the new season! Experienced spiritual parents, be ready to mentor the brand new parents in this exciting phase of life!
