On Tuesday, July 20th, I was watching a YouTube by Bonnie Jones that discussed Profane Fire. Holy Fear of God Returns to Prophets by Bonnie Jones on July 19, 2021. Her voice faded into the background as the Holy Spirit began sharing with me how many downloaded puzzle pieces I’ve received over the years are clicking together at such a time as this. Watch her video FIRST for my jumble of puzzle pieces to make more sense in how they click together.
– The High Priest Aaron and his 4 sons were tasked with priestly duties, that were different than Levite duties. Nadab & Abihu offered “profane fire” or “strange fire” by putting incense in their burner and offering that which God did not command, which was a direct violation of God’s commandments. (Leviticus 10:1) The Hebrew word for “strange” is H2114 – Zur, which means to be a stranger or be estranged or be alienated from = not in intimate “ginosko” relationship & fellowship with that person. The same word is used to describe the Strange Woman in Proverbs 5 (read the whole chapter for clarity), the whore that is contrasted with the Virtuous Wife in Proverbs 31. They offered incense without being in intimate relationship with the LORD. It resulted in their death when the wrath of God leapt out. Brings a whole new meaning to falling under the power of the fire of God! Aaron was forbidden from grieving their deaths because what God did was a demonstration of justice.
– Nadab & Abihu had previously gone up the mountain with the 70 elders, Moses & Aaron and had fellowship with Jehovah. (Exodus 24). Although they had an EXPERIENCE with God’s presence, they lacked the relational Fear of the LORD, purity, and holiness in their priestly duties. Satan was also in the presence of the LORD, yet he still led a mutiny against God and got cast down like lightning along with a third of the angels. Treating God’s presence casually got Nadab & Abihu killed. I released “The Key to Overcoming Rejection”, “Unclean Honey” & “Ahab Will Die Before Jezebel” a while back that referenced God’s justice and the many leaders that God killed throughout the Bible because they lacked the Fear of the LORD. (Download the “Mining for Gems” PDF on the Resource page & CTLF F to search for them.) The result was that the corporate congregation developed a healthy dose of the Fear of the LORD. Discipline a fool / mocker and the simple will learn wisdom. (Prov 19:25)
– The prayer of the SAINTS, not the wicked or sinners but saints that are to be holy, is to accompany the smoke of incense at the altar. (Revelation 8:3-4) The incense along with the anointing oil for the lamps was to be made a very specific way, according to the ways of the apothecary, and was deemed holy. Incense was to be burnt upon the Altar of Incense morning and evening when the Menorah lamps were tended to by the High Priest, as a perpetual incense before the LORD throughout our generations. The atonement was made once a year (Day of Atonement, also known as Yom Kippur) by applying the blood of the sin offering on the horns of the altar of incense. (Exodus 30) The lamps that illuminate our soul were to accompany the burning of incense.
– Proverbs 6:23 – For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:
– The prayers of those who refuse to hear the Law are an abomination to the LORD. (Prov 28:9) Cross-reference previous blog about the angels coming to remove out of the Kingdom of Heaven, that is within us, all that offend and DO lawlessness. (Matt 13:41) Contrast that with “The effectual fervent prayer of a RIGHTEOUS man availeth much.” (James 5:16b)
– Evidence of a FALSE prophet (mouthpiece for the LORD) and one who does NOT abide in the Kingdom of Heaven:
o Matthew 7:21-23 – 21 Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the KINGDOM OF HEAVEN; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I NEVER KNEW YOU: depart from me, ye that work INIQUITY (lawlessness). (**If He didn’t KNOW them – “ginosko” = referring to a sexual union between husband and wife, they were never His BRIDE even if they were servants. Jezebel seduced God’s SERVANTS to fornicate, resulting in them becoming strange women- Rev 2:20.)
o 1 John 2:3-4 – 3 And hereby we do know that we KNOW him, IF WE KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a LIAR, and the TRUTH IS NOT IN HIM.
o Deut 13:1-5 – If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, 2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; 3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the Lord your God PROVETH (tests) you, to know whether ye LOVE the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. 4 Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and FEAR HIM, AND KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS AND OBEY HIS VOICE and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him. 5 And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, SHALL BE PUT TO DEATH; because he hath spoken to TURN YOU AWAY FROM THE LORD YOUR GOD, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of THE WAY WHICH THE LORD THY GOD COMMANDED THEE TO WALK IN. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee.
o Matt 5:16 – 20 – 16 Let your LIGHT so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. 17 Think NOT that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall BREAK one of these least commandments, and SHALL TEACH MEN SO, he shall be called the LEAST in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall DO AND TEACH THEM (God’s commandments), the same shall be called GREAT in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
o Luke 11:34 – The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.
o Acts 26:18 – To OPEN THEIR EYES, and to turn them from DARKNESS TO LIGHT darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive FORGIVENESS OF SIN, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. (**Revival must first start among BLIND SERVANTS, and then Christians whose eyes have been shut by BLIND SERVANTS, before we can think to lead a reformation of the world!)
o Isaiah 42:19-25 – 19 Who is BLIND, BUT MY SERVANT? or DEAF, as MY MESSENGER that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the Lord’s servant?20 Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not. 21 The Lord is well pleased for his righteousness’ sake; he will MAGNIFY THE LAW, and make it honourable. 22 But this is a people robbed and spoiled; they are all of them SNARED IN HOLES, and they are HID IN PRISON HOUSES: they are for a prey, and none delivereth; for a spoil, and none saith, Restore. 23 Who among you will give ear to this? who will hearken and hear for the time to come? 24 Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the Lord, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, NEITHER WERE THEY OBEDIENT UNTO HIS LAW. 25 Therefore he hath poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle: and it hath set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid it not to heart.
o Luke 4:17-18 – 17 And there was delivered unto [Jesus] the book of the prophet [Isaiah]. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, 18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the CAPTIVES, and RECOVERING OF SIGHT TO THE BLIND, to set at liberty them that are BRUISED,
o Isaiah 53:5 – But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was BRUISED FOR OUR INIQUITIES: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
– The Holy Spirit comes to convict of sin, which by definition is breaking God’s commandments. So evidence of a FALSE SPIRIT (Kundalini spirit, anti-Christ spirit, spirit of divination/sorcery/witchcraft, etc.) is that it will NOT convict of sin but rather promote TOLERANCE for and BLINDNESS of sin and PARTNERSHIP with the Prince of this World (and NOT the Prince of Peace).
o Luke 16:8-11 – 8 And when he is come, he will reprove (convict) the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: 9 Of sin, because they believe not on me; 10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; 11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
o Romans 3:20 – Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin. (**We aren’t justified by the deeds, but by receiving the free gift of perfect blood of Jesus Christ by faith. However, the DEEDS of the Law are the Fine Linen of the Bride. See below.)
– We are to be adorned in the Fine Linen of the Saints, which is righteous ACTS/DEEDS. It’s not merely a spirit realm transaction that we RECEIVE of being born again in the Spirit by the baptism of the Holy Spirit, but that we will demonstrate God’s nature and character by GIVING OUT actions, words, and thoughts that represent Him because we are now HIS children and no longer sons of their father the devil, like the Pharisees were. OUR righteousness in our own strength is as filthy rags BUT it does not negate our responsibility to obey His commandments empowered by the Holy Spirit. Trying to obey God with works of the flesh is carnality. Trying to adhere to a list of cold, relationship less RULES in order to attempt to have a form of godliness without power is legalism. Unbelief is apostasy. Walking in the Spirit and by the Spirit is what the Sons of God do.
o Revelation 19:8 NLT – She has been given the finest of pure white linen to wear. For the fine linen represents the good deeds of God’s holy people.
o Isaiah 64:6 – We are all infected and impure with sin. When we display OUR righteous deeds, they are nothing but filthy rags. Like autumn leaves, we wither and fall, and our SINS sweep us away like the wind.
o Romans 7:14 – For we know that THE LAW IS SPIRITUAL: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
o Romans 8:6,14 – For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace…. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
o Revelation 22:2, 14 – In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and THE LEAVES OF THE TREE WERE FOR THE HEALING OF THE NATIONS.(**Canada’s prophetic destiny!) …. Blessed are they that DO his commandments, that they may have RIGHT to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
– The Sons of Zadok (which means Sons of Righteousness) will teach the congregation the difference between the holy and profane (H2455 – unholy, common, sand) , the clean and unclean, and have the pleasure of ministering TO THE LORD, something the idolatrous Levites will be prohibited from although they will be forgiven and allowed back to minister TO THE PEOPLE. (Ezekiel 44) The Sons of Zadok will be the priests who will walk in the Fear of the LORD.
o Deut 10: 12-13 – 12 And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, 13 To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?
o Malachi 3:16-18 – 16 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name. 17 And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as A MAN SPARETH HIS OWN SON THAT SERVETH HIM. 18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.
o Deut 21:18-23 – 18 If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them: 19 Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place; 20 And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard. 21 And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear. 22 And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree: 23 His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.
o Galatians 3:10-14 – 10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them. 11 But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith. 12 And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them. 13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
– The Prophets of Baal tried to call down fire upon their sacrifice but failed. Elijah called down fire successfully, then had the false prophets killed. The Prophets are declaring the days of Elijah are upon us. They are also declaring the lukewarm will be spewed out and that the polluted prophetic is being cleansed. Jehu and Jonadab finished off the rest of the false prophets remaining after the Mount Carmel confrontation that saw the 450 prophets of Baal slaughtered (1 Kings 18:19, 40). The prophets may be saying the Balaam’s are arising, but the scriptures show that Balaam ended up being killed by the sword whereas the ones he was hired to curse were victorious in the end. Notice that the plague that hit the Israelites after the doctrine of Balaam was introduced – seduce the men with the pagan women so God would curse His own people – was halted when Phinehas threw the javelin through the fornicating chief prince.
o Numbers 31:8,10 – And Moses sent them to the war, a thousand of every tribe, them and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war, with the holy instruments, and the trumpets to blow in his hand….10 And they slew the kings of Midian, beside the rest of them that were slain; namely, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, five kings of Midian: Balaam also the son of Beor they slew with the sword.
o Numbers 25:3-9 – 3 And Israel joined himself unto Baalpeor: and the anger of the LORD was kindled against Israel 4 And the LORD said unto Moses, Take all the heads of the people, and hang them up before the LORD against the sun, that the fierce anger of the LORD may be turned away from Israel. 5 And Moses said unto the judges of Israel, Slay ye every one his men that were joined unto Baalpeor. 6 And, behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought unto his brethren a Midianitish woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, who were weeping before the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. 7 And when Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from among the congregation, and took a javelin in his hand; 8 And he went after the man of Israel into the tent, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her belly. So THE PLAGUE WAS STAYED from the children of Israel. 9 And those that died in the plague were twenty and four thousand.
