During a prayer meeting on Monday, July 19th, 2021, the LORD revealed to us an interesting key to corporately receive healing to the trauma caused by the wolves in sheep’s clothing from a facet I wouldn’t have considered before.
When the rightful fathers/shepherds, both physical and spiritual, fail to exercise discernment and abdicate or surrender their authority to someone else who traumatizes their children/flock, it causes a breach in the child’s heart with the lawful authority figure. That creates a landing pad for demons to attach to.
The physical, soul, and/or heart wounds caused by the direct traumatization of the hired hand must be healed but a deeper heart wound of broken trust must also be healed to restore intimacy with Abba Father. When the traumatization involves sexual abuse, the association with intimacy is that much stronger.
Because the wounding was allowed by the father’s/shepherd’s abdication, that breach of trust between father & child superimposes upon the relationship between the Heavenly Father – child. This creates an opening for an Orphan Spirit and Victim Spirit among others to land. Until that wound is recognized and healed and trust restored, the DESIRE for intimacy with Abba Father often doesn’t materialize.
Picture someone who has a deep knife wound on their chest and they desire to hug someone, but the closeness causes intense pain causing withdrawal from the enjoyment of the hug and desired relationship because the pain is greater than the pleasure.
I released in a blog May 25th, 2019 that there are 4 levels of relationship:
1) Access.
2) Transparency.
3) Trust.
4) Intimacy.
Failure to meet and maintain these progressive levels will block us from true intimacy with the LORD and with other people, like our spouses, family members, and the body of Christ.
The pain of the abuse is linked as a trigger to the breach of trust. Until that trigger is removed, any attempts to develop trust or intimacy with Abba Father will subconsciously be linked with memories of pain.
The LORD showed that part of the solution will be for the rightful fathers/shepherds to rise up and humbly repent to their children/flocks for their lack of discernment and ask for and receive their forgiveness and lead them to the Holy Spirit for healing their hearts. The healing of their children’s hearts will remove the landing pad of broken trust, resulting in mass corporate deliverance that would otherwise take thousands of hours of counseling and deliverance ministry. It will also enable them to finally materialize that intimacy they so deeply desire but have given up hope of every receiving.
Then the fathers & shepherds need to rectify the original cause of the loss of discernment in the first place, which was walking away from the Fear of the LORD with intimate communion with the Heavenly Father and accepting the counterfeit substitute of the traditions of men. Isaiah 29 shows us that there is a curse of a spirit of slumber upon those who worship with their lips through the traditions of men, but their hearts are far from the LORD. This too, will be broken when the Fathers and Shepherds LEAD the flock in repentance and restoration of intimacy of relationship with the Heavenly Father.
Jeremiah 3: 12 Therefore, go and give this message to Israel.[b] This is what the LORD says:
“O Israel, my faithless people,
come home to me again,
for I am merciful.
I will not be angry with you forever.
13 Only acknowledge your guilt.
Admit that you rebelled against the LORD your God
and committed adultery against him
by worshiping idols under every green tree.
Confess that you refused to listen to my voice.
I, the LORD, have spoken!
14 “Return home, you wayward children,”
says the LORD,
“for I am your master.
I will bring you back to the land of Israel[c]—
one from this town and two from that family—
from wherever you are scattered.
15 And I will give you shepherds after my own heart,
who will guide you with knowledge and understanding.
