Breaking off the Bastard Curse (The Law Thru the Eyes of Jesus series)
https://www.facebook.com/stephenjulia.kelly/videos/4331556410188691 As we enter into this season of rebuilding, we need to first break off the bastard curse, for a bastard is without chastisement and will be unable to receive the instruction of the Law, nurturing of the Father, nor discipline that is required to qualify as a son of God. A lack of this loving relationship and responsibilities of the Heavenly Father manifesting in our lives opens the door to an orphan spirit, which has wreaked havoc on the body of Christ. We need to bring those sins, both our own and the iniquity of our ancestors, under the blood of Jesus Christ to break the power of sin that enables curses to land so that we can enter into intimacy with the Heavenly Father and step into the Fear of the LORD. Remember, Jesus is the WAY to the Father.- Deuteronomy 23:2 A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the Lord. (**David, a descendent of Judah & adulterous Tamar, is one biblical example. When the curse finally ran out after 10 generations, David was able to enter into the Fear of the LORD and the New Covenant, evidenced by the Law lovingly hidden in his heart and the Spirit of the LORD within him, for he pleaded in Ps 51:11 “Take not thy Holy Spirit from me!”)- Hebrews 12:7-9 – 7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? 8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. 9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live? So, WHO is a bastard? WHAT makes a person a bastard? Biblically, the definition is much broader than our culture’s standard of “born out of wedlock”.- Bastard = Strongs H4464 – Mamzer. A bastard, child of incest, illegitimate child, born of a Jewish father and a heathen mother.- Physical bastards:o Leviticus 18 & Deut 23 lists the sexual sins. Any child born from one of those sinful relationships, such as cousins marrying each other or marrying someone born of incest, would be a Biblical bastard.- Children born out of incest:o The Ammonites & Moabites were nations that were conceived when Lot’s daughters had sex with their father = incestuous descendents.- Biblical marriage was when a man left his mother and father and cleaved unto his wife. So the first person you have sex with is your biblical spouse. Even if it was due to rape, that woman was required to be married to that man. That is why sexual purity is so crucial to holiness. Fathers would be much more careful regarding their children’s purity if they fathomed the severity of God’s commandments regarding sexual sin.o Gen 2:24 – 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.o Deut 22:28-29 – 28 If a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found; 29 Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel’s father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days.- Anyone who marries a divorced person or is divorced and remarries has committed adultery. Any children that come forth from that relationship are bastards even if the world and now the world-infected church sees it as “holy matrimony.”o Luke 16:18 – 18 Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.o John 8:10-11 – 10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the (adulterous) woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? 11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
– Spiritual bastards with a Jewish (circumcised heart) and a heathen (uncircumcised heart) mother. o Rev 2: 20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. 23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. o Nehemiah 7: 63 And of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai, which took one of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite to wife, and was called after their name. 64 These sought their register among those that were reckoned by genealogy, but it was not found: therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood. o Rom 2:28-29 – 28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. o Eze 44:6-10 – 6 And thou shalt say to the rebellious, even to the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord God; O ye house of Israel, let it suffice you of all your abominations, 7 In that ye have brought into my sanctuary strangers, uncircumcised in heart, and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in my sanctuary, to pollute it, even my house, when ye offer my bread, the fat and the blood, and they have broken my covenant because of all your abominations. 8 And ye have not kept the charge of my holy things: but ye have set keepers of my charge in my sanctuary for yourselves. 9 Thus saith the Lord God; No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that is among the children of Israel. 10 And the Levites that are gone away far from me, when Israel went astray, which went astray away from me after their idols; they shall even bear their iniquity. o 2 Corinthians 6:14 – Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? o Deut 17: 15 Thou shalt in any wise set him king over thee, whom the Lord thy God shall choose: one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee: thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which is not thy brother. 16 But he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as the Lord hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way. 17 Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold. (**These were the sins of Solomon that cost him his kingdom and prophesied destiny. He had wisdom but lacked the Fear of the LORD.) Prayer time for breaking the bastard curse.
