The Bluenose Schooners (Part 1)

**I found a dime in front of Serenity’s carseat and was reminded of this verbal release 3 yrs ago and felt the instruction to release the transcript along with another word about the tall ships…that will be part 2**

Delivered by Julia Kelly during the Pastors & Prayer Warriors Prayer Breakfast hosted by Bruce Gordon at The Prayer Centre, 50 Niagara Street, St. Catharines, ON on January 7th, 2017 (Transcript edited for readability)

As I was heading out the door, the LORD prompted me to bring 3 items with me. Initially I thought there might be a need to fill but I discovered they were props, a prophetic act so to speak.

  • Toilet paper. Some people are humbled when they have their feet washed. However, in this day and age when we already have shoes on our feet, to allow somebody to clean up our dirty business is more humiliating and humbling than having our feet washed. And yet there are people in the body of Christ that need to be cleaned up. When they’re that sick, they can’t do it for themselves. It’s embarrassing. It’s mortifying but they NEED it and they are grateful for it when it does happen. Toilet paper.

  • Soap! This one is Winter Candy Apple, red for Jesus’ blood! We need the cleansing of the blood of Jesus Christ. And yet there are a lot of us that don’t realize we have areas in our lives that need to be cleaned because we can’t see the germs. Just like when we wash our hands, they LOOK clean but they’re carrying germs that can cause sickness. The blood of Jesus is going to wash us white as snow. WINTER Candy apple.

  • Whitening toothpaste! God has a sense of humor! God wants to whiten our tongues, whiten our teeth, white our mouths. A lot of the body of Christ don’t realize how much power we have in our words. And in this season moving forward, we need to have clean mouths, not just clean hands and clean hearts. What we say will directly impact whether we have victory or defeat. A lot of people brush their teeth regularly, but they don’t realize that there’s still a little bit of whitening that needs to happen. We get used to the yellowing of our teeth. It’s just one of those things that you ignore until all of a sudden, you’re confronted with how far from dazzling white they’ve become. Then you realize, “Maybe I do need a little bit of tooth whitening.” In order to confront the enemy, we’re going to need to bare our teeth. When our teeth are shiny, it will blind the enemy.

God woke me up at 2:30am to write down a download of visions, sensations, and revelation. Today is January 7th of 2017. When you write that out, it is 1/7/17. It’s double victory. We are entering into a year, into a season of double victory!!! As a comical side note, Serenity Joy’s due date *patting my expanding belly* is March 17th, 2017. Double victory! Where there is victory, that means there’s a battle to be fought. God is telling us ahead of time He has a double victory up His sleeve for us. Just like how David said, I am coming to you with the LORD of Heaven’s Hosts, Jehovah Sabaoth, we too need to go forth valiantly. David did not play chicken with Goliath. He didn’t wait for the enemy to come to him. He ran boldly TO him. He attacked the enemy with a stone, with the Rock of Jesus Christ.

The vision was of a Canadian dime with the ship side up on a wooden table. This ship, a schooner, is a vessel that is wind powered. I didn’t have much time to look it up on the way here, but from what I understand from wind powered ships, they’re designed to go forward. If you have a rudder on the back and the bow in the front, we are supposed to be going forward, not moving backwards. We’re supposed to be powered by the Holy Spirit, by the wind of the holy spirit. Those boats did not stick oars out like the war gallies and go paddling to their destination. They went by wind power, which is what we are to do in this season.

Then I heard, “Don’t throw your sail overboard with Jonah.” This is a season that Jonah needs to be thrown overboard. Pastor Dayo also said this on New Years Eve. Jonah knew the presence of the LORD. He knew the voice of the LORD. He knew what his marching orders were and still he ran away. Because of his disobedience, he carried a curse upon him. Wherever he went, that curse manifested. When Jonah was asleep, everyone else was crying out their gods. They didn’t know the right god to cry out to but at least they were crying out, they were repenting, they were doing everything they could to save their ship.

They welcomed Jonah on board for the money he could benefit them. In the process, however, he ended up costing them a whole lot more.
Finally, they woke up Jonah demanding, “What are you doing??? You’re asleep!” Jonah’s response was one of indifference. Jonah didn’t have the same hunger and passion to get to the destination as the crewmates. While everyone else was working their butts off, he was sleeping.
When they threw Jonah overboard, not only did it save the ship, it saved Jonah’s life. That’s something that a lot of times we forget, that it feels like it’s a horrible thing to throw Jonah to the sea. It feels like we’re throwing this person to their spiritual death. Yet God already had a whale ready to go to swallow him up bring him to that place of repentance. Although Jonah didn’t fulfill his destiny with a heart after God, he DID fulfill his destiny reaping in 120,000 souls. How many Jonah’s need to be thrown overboard as an act of tough love in order to reap in the harvest? At the same time, we’re not to throw our sail overboard with Jonah.

I discovered the name of the ship on the dime is called the Bluenose Schooner. I didn’t get to research much other than the fact it was commissioned by the queen. God’s been dealing with me regarding commissioned into office. I’m a commissioned officer in the military, now retired. As I was reading through my commissioning scroll, I discovered I have been commissioned by the SOVEREIGN. Now in my commissioning scroll, it’s referring to the queen as the sovereign but who is OUR sovereign? *pointing up to Jesus* She’s also the defender of the faith, which is what we are supposed to be. The one thing that jumped out was that the Bluenose Schooner was called a “sailing ambassador.” It is time to sail out of our ports and get boogying, being the ambassadors for OUR sovereign.

(*Bluenose Schooner – Definition of Bluenose: a person who advocates a rigorous moral code. Schooner – a sail-powered ship with at least a Foremast and Mainmast (2!), smaller but more powerful than other comparable ships of that day, known for speed, flexibility (could handle shallow depth) & agility hence why pirates liked to steal them, built for the wealthy & nobility, Bluenose Schooner was a fishing/racing boat that won many races in that day. Ships are “she’s”. Made Nova Scotia, Canada. Predominately fished salt fish off the Grand Banks of NEW-found-land w/ some NFLD crew.***) NEW FOUND LAND – IN SAILING WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT YOU WILL MAKE NEW ROADS TO THE LAND OF IMPOSSIBLITIES. THOSE MOUNTAINS WILL MOVE FOR YOU. YOU WILL GO PLACES AND IN WAYS THAT ARE UNCHARTERED!)

The Canadian Dime is 10 cents. 10 represents the law, and the tithe. (ALSO, JUSTICE) There are several scriptures passages the LORD brought to mind. Nehemiah 9:2-3. This is where Ezra read out the book of the law, and the Israelites repented of the sins of their ancestors. They did deliverance ministry! If you read further, they returned to following God’s commandments. Not because they had to, but because they wanted to. Acts 15:21 where Paul is talking to the council regarding the requirements for the gentiles to enter the synagogues. They had to initially obey 4 different things and then he says, “they’re going to be taught Moses in the synagogue every week anyways.” The gentiles would be introduced to God’s commandments.

2 Kings 22 & 23 is the story of King Josiah, where he says, “Let’s start rebuilding the temple.” They discover the book of the law. My initial thought was “How can you have a temple and priests and still not know God’s commandments?” Yet, this is much like many congregations today. Josiah repented and judgment was stayed.

Malachi 3:6-11. In verse 7, it points out the ancestors of God’s people did not obey His ordinances and therefore they came under a curse. This passage commands us to bring the whole tithe into the storehouse. Note: it says tithes AND offerings. There are 3 things there – obedience to God’s ordinances, bringing tithes, and bringing offerings.

This is a year that God wants to bring overflow. Abundance. Breakthrough. Prosperity. Double Victory. And we have put a padlock on the windows of heaven on our side because of our disobedience. God wants us to open the window so He can pour out His blessings. However, we won’t be blessed until we get the spirit of Mammon out of the way because God is going to be pouring out SO MUCH that if we don’t get our heart attitude and our focus in the right direction, the money he wants to bless us with will end up cursing us. He wants us to come into obedience with him because what we give is going to be nothing compared to what he’s going to pour out on us.

We’ve already experienced this a little bit ourselves. God has been leading us through some very challenging opportunities financially, of God asking us, “Will you obey? I’m not forcing you. I’m asking you.” As we’ve stepped out, there was one point where we should have been $3000 in the red yet we’re still in the black! There’s no mathematical explanation for it! Money just shows up in our bank account. Money is being given to us. It’s not, “Yay! We got all this money. Let’s go spend it on ourselves!” God then gives further direction to give over here. Now give over there. We’ve gotten to hear some amazing testimonies of kingdom economy in action where our obedience met someone else’s need because of their obedience and it goes into a full circle where when our need is at the deadline to be met, now we’re receiving. Are we going to trust in the LORD to meet our finances and step out in faith?

Ez 44:23-24. This passage is regarding the Sons of Zadok. After the majority of the priests of Israel compromised, the Sons of Zadok stayed true to God. They were then elevated and honored for their faithfulness. They were commanded to teach the difference between the holy and the profane. A lot of people in our churches, they do not know God’s laws enough to even identify the difference between the holy and profane anymore because the media is teaching them. Doctrine is teaching them instead of God’s word. Theology is teaching them. We need to get back to God’s word teaching the body of Christ.

2 Sam 6 – Where King David was bringing back the ark the first time. He wanted to bring the ark back. He wanted the presence of the LORD. His heart was in the right spot. His worship was in the right spot. Unfortunately, because he tried to usher in the presence of the LORD in a way that was not dictated BY the LORD, Uzzah died. This seems to be a time when God is saying, “Get back to the way I want things done. Man has done it his way long enough and religion has taken over. Now get back to my way.”

All of a sudden, I heard “Rules of Engagement.” God’s commandments in the Old Testament are our Rules of Engagement on how to WIN this war, how to win this battle against the devil. When we do life God’s way, Deuteronomy 28 says we’re going to be blessed beyond compare. We are going to prosper. Joshua 1:7-8 also confirms when we do things God’s way, we’re going to prosper. Joshua 3:11 was another one.

John 14:15, 21. I was taught the law is legalistic, it’s the OLD covenant so we don’t need to worry about that, it’s irrelevant. But God asked me, “Who told you My love letter is irrelevant?” This is God’s love language! “If you LOVE Me, keep My commandments.” It doesn’t say if you’re terrified, I’m going to bash you into the floor, so you better obey! If you LOVE me, keep my commandments. We need to be so filled with love, receiving God’s love first so that we can then pour out God’s love to everyone else. When we read through the Law, it gives us all those little practical to-dos. Care for the widows, care for the orphans, how to treat foreigners within your midst, how to deal with taking care of the Levites. How do you take care of those who have sinned? How do you take care of the people that need to run away to the cities of refuge? Regarding the city of refuge, they had to stay there until their high priest died. Who is our high priest? Jesus! Has he already died? Yes! And he’s already risen again! So, all those people who are trapped in their cities of refuge, it’s time to go free them!

As Joshua was leading people into the promised land (OUR NEWFOUND LAND), what went first? The ark of the covenant. The 12 priests, representing each tribe, carried the ark. With Moses, the Red Sea opened up and they crossed on dry ground. With Joshua, they had to step into a raging river that was flooded past its boundaries and told to carry the ark across. I can only imagine those priests saying, “Please don’t let me step on a stone. Please don’t’ let me get washed away because if I drop the ark, what’s going to happen?” It wasn’t until AFTER they went so far that they finally started to see the water recede.

(JOSHUA 3:16-17…WATERS ROSE UP IN A HEAP 30 MILES UPRIVER FROM JERICHO BY ADAM/ZARETAN AFTER THE PRIESTS STEPPED IN THE BRINK OF THE RIVER…ALL THE WATER IN THE REMAINING RIVERBED STILL HAD TO FINISH FLOWING DOWN)

And THEN they crossed on dry ground. This is a season where we’re going into our promised lands. We have to go by faith because the water is not stopping before we step out. It will stop AFTER we step out. After they went through the Jordan, they had their covenants renewed. They went through circumcision. They celebrated Passover. They renewed their part of the covenant with the LORD through obedience.

The Jordon can also represent cleansing because Naaman had to dip in the Jordan 7 times to get his leprosy cleansed off. And what are we supposed to do? Matthew 10:7-8 – “And as you go preach, saying the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils. Freely you have RECEIVED, freely give.” If we haven’t been cleansed ourselves, we can’t give that cleansing to someone else.

While I was pondering the vision, my right thigh got really hot. I asked the LORD, what on earth does this have to do with anything? He reminded me of Revelation so I went hunting for it this morning, Revelation 19:15-16. Jesus is our King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Also, it is in Micah 2:13. Our King is going to go before us. He’s going to break through the way. Jesus is our breaker. When we go into the battles recognizing that Jesus is going before us, it may seem in the natural like we’re dealing with all this craziness in the battles by ourselves but we’re not. Jesus has gone before us. He’s already opened the gate before us. We have to be faithful to walk through, to step into the Jordan river, to step into the land of Canaan.

Another thing is that the manna stopped after they got into the Promised Land. MANNA WAS A SUPPLEMENT TO TIDE THEM OVER UNTIL THE BLESSING OF BOUNTY CAME TO FRUITUTION! It was also that the LAND was going to provide their provision. The provision is already there. The provision is already waiting. But instead of being handed to them, it was time for them to grow up and go gather their provision. BABIES ARE FED MILK PREPARED BY SOMEONE ELSE. MATURE SONS ARE ON TO STRONG MEAT.

The other thing was fullness of joy. God really has a sense of humor on this one. I’m full (pointing to my belly) of Joy. Serenity Joy. I’m going to get even bigger because I still have another 10 weeks! Psalm 16:11 – in the presence of the LORD is fullness of joy” And this is the KEY for getting through, because if we try to fight those battles without the LORD’s presence, it’s not going to work. And so as we’re in the presence of the LORD, whether it be through journaling, through soaking, through whichever way that God has for you getting into His presence, and not just getting into it for 20 minutes in the morning but learning to get to that place where we are going to be WITH the LORD.

There was a season back before June 2016 where I was living in vision for a good chunk of the day, where I would be doing my dishes and Jesus was sitting up on the counter chatting with me. Believe me, it really freaked me out because I’m walking out of a background of religion. God just keeping breaking down ungodly beliefs reminding me, “That’s not how I operate.” When you start seeing Jesus doing one of those dances the black guys do in the streets and they’re spinning around – Breakdancing! That’s the word. When you see Jesus breakdancing in church and you’re expecting Jesus to be, (ahem, with a frown and stiff upper lip), royal and on the throne and a big sour look on his face, my response was, “ Oh My Goodness! What are you doing, Jesus???” When we start getting into that place, of being in the presence of the LORD and living in vision, when you’re making cookie dough for your kids and suddenly Jesus is there swiping some of the cookie dough, and you just want to crack his knuckles (pretending to swing a wooden spoon). “Jesus, you’re not allowed to steal!” His response was, “That’s not stealing. That’s enjoying being family.”

Oh! Jesus is much more fun and not as straight-laced as I am. When we get to that place where we are in the presence of God on a regular basis, you learn to let your laces out. When we realize for ourselves how much fun Jesus is, the world is going to see how much fun Jesus is through us.

Because we are going to be those sailing ambassadors, the word you (Bruce Gordon) said earlier, and we are going to be carrying something that is sweet – winter CANDY apple – and that it’s going to draw them in because they’re hungry but they also have a sweet tooth that needs to be filled. So, that’s my long shpeal.
