I woke up July 14th, 2020, from a very short and to the point dream. My family was driving up the Skyway Bridge in a Blood-red van. A vulture was squatting on top of the streetlight. The end.
The symbols were simple enough, but it’s been very thought-provoking! Vultures are unclean animals because they feast on dead flesh. The Sky-way Bridge represents our way to a heavenly relationship with the LORD and the highway TO holiness. No man comes to the Heavenly Father except through the shed blood and word of Jesus Christ by faith. The light exposes what’s hiding in darkness, which makes it easy pickings for the vulture to devour as well as those inside the van to view from the safety of their window. The bloodred van carrying the Family of God are those who are covered by the blood of Jesus and DO the will of the Father, which produces a God-driven holy unity that provides protection.
As I searched the scriptures on vultures, the entire chapter of Proverbs 29 came up instead. The Holy Spirit has creative ways of directing our paths! I’ll let you read it yourself but in short, that’s what we are dealing with right now in our culture wars. Let it bring HOPE as to why we are enduring these shakings. Sometimes people have to SEE, and for the stubborn EXPERIENCE, the consequences of their sin before they realize that God’s righteousness truly is the better option. A wise child heeds rebuke and obeys. The simple watch the fools receive their discipline and learn wisdom. The prudent see danger and hide under God’s covering while the simple ignorantly go on to their destruction.
Back to vultures. The verse that leapt in my mind I was originally trying to find was in Proverbs 30, although the KJV uses the word “young eagles” to what other translations call “vultures”.
Proverbs 30:12-17KJV – 12 There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness. 13 There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up. 14 There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men. 15 The horseleach hath two daughters, crying, Give, give. There are three things that are never satisfied, yea, four things say not, It is enough: 16 The grave; and the barren womb; the earth that is not filled with water; and the fire that saith not, It is enough. 17 The EYE that mocketh at his father, and despiseth to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles (*vultures) shall eat it.
The vultures or young eagles shall devour the eye that mocks his Father and despises to obey his Mother. In the Bible, wisdom is represented as a woman. The Fear of the LORD, which requires obedience to God’s commandments, is the beginning of Wisdom. If you have no eyes, you are blind. We see in these verses that it is MOCKING OUR FATHER, the Law maker and the Way Maker, and DESPISING TO OBEY the Law of thy Mother – the Holy Spirit our comforter, that will result in spiritual blindness.
Now overlay all of this within the context of what’s been happening lately in the prophetic circles. There’s a huge divide over the warnings of impending judgment being released from all different prophetic voices. Some of the body of Christ are heeding them with overwhelming terror in their hearts. Others are decrying them as fear-mongering and that we need to focus on the good that God is doing. May I suggest that they are both right and very possibly both wrong at the same time?
I’m drawing a blank on which prophetic voice recently accused those who fear-monger as being “sin-conscious” but the LORD reminded me of the post with the question – “Are those who fear the coming wrath sin conscious or freedom conscious?”
John the Baptist cried out to the Pharisees coming to the Jordan, “You Brood of Vipers! Who told you to FLEE THE COMING WRATH?” He wasn’t teaching people to fear for their lives. He taught people to repent of their sin and be washed in the living water of the Word that brings life!
One is not motivated to remove the chains that ensnare if:
A) they think those chains are simply a part of themselves and have bought into the thinking that it is cruel to expect you to remove a piece of who you are, be it anger, pride, your calendar, diet, sexual identity, etc.
B) they have lost hope of ever finding the KEY to remove the chains of bondage and have given up.
If all you ever do is navel gaze at your sin in hopelessness, THAT is sin consciousness. However, if you search for spiritual cancer with the intent to surgically remove it to restore health, that is freedom consciousness! The wages of sin is death but Jesus gave us the gift of eternal life that is possessed through faith, and faith without works is dead. If we can identify the sin, pay the penalty of the sin with the death and blood of Jesus Christ, AND remove the cancer by turning away from it so that life (obedience to God’s word) can be restored to that diseased area, that person can walk in divine health!
Now the flip side. If all you ever do is look at the positive prophetic future while stuck in your chains, there will never be any traction going forward no matter how hard you pursue the LORD in your blindness. You will lose hope and give up. Hope deferred makes the heart sick but the tree of life fulfills desires. Yes, I mixed up the order of those words purposely because if you study what the scriptures say about desire, it makes more logical sense. The only way to truly have your hearts desires fulfilled is if you walk in forgiveness and repentance and take up your cross daily and follow Jesus Christ – the Tree of Life!
So let’s shine light on some dead flesh littering the Highway to Holiness that give the vultures an opportunity to devour so we can crucify it and get it under the blood…Essentially get you into the JESUS Van that enables you to keep your spiritual eyeballs.
As you read the list below of biblical death penalty sins, courtesy of https://jesusalive.cc/ques360.htm , keep in mind the prophesied judgment of war and pandemic that lines up with the Roosevelt Foundation manifesto declaring its intent to purposely release a virus with a 30% death rate to force the One World Government into position. The list of sins below are ones that by the Law of God demand a death penalty that the devil will gladly dish out for those who don’t freely receive the free payment of Jesus’ death in their place. They are using God’s very Law against us! (aka Doctrine of Balaam)
But don’t stop there! Now look at the same list through the eyes of the harvest of the Kingdom of God as the lepers are cleansed of their sin, God takes away all sickness and disease as they repent of their iniquity when they ask for forgiveness, the spiritually and literally dead are raised (because the dead have paid their sin penalty with their own lives so the devil no longer has a right to KEEP them dead since Jesus possesses the keys to hell and the grave), and the demons are cast out to the dry places. Some also believe that when the Bible says people were “cut off,” it is speaking of the death penalty. According to Strong’s, one meaning of the Hebrew word “karath” is “to exterminate or destroy.” A number of verses seem to bear out this possibility (Gen 9:11)(Ex 31:14)(1 Kin 11:16)(Jer 11:19)(Ob 1:9-10). If this is indeed the case, there are a number of other death penalty offences. We have a generation of church goers that don’t know the definition of sin because it wasn’t politically correct or financially advantageous to provide the instruction of truth from the pulpit. The Coronavirus or COVID-19 started to wake up a lot of people up to the reality that church attendance didn’t protect them from the Devourer. Nor did giving money digitally, reading their Bible, or praying. Adding insult to injury, the Media relished in shining the spotlight regularly on examples of pastors and church goers who contracted and died from the diseases of Egypt that God doesn’t put on the obedient, only those who disobey or who add to God’s word.
Exodus 15:26 – And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee.
Rev 22: 18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
When the devil accuses us and takes us to court, we are to AGREE with him before he gets there and get the sin rectified through Jesus Christ, lest the Judge have no evidence in our favor to warrant merciful plea deal.
Matthew 5:25 25″Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. Do it while you are still together on the way, or your adversary may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison.
If we don’t fill the void of a lack of knowledge the church leaders of previous generations have failed to fill, we will see a lot more needless perishing in the near future of the upcoming generations and fail to step into the amazing, glorious prophesied destinies awaiting us! COVID-19 was only a warning shot across the bow of what is to come. Leviticus 26 lays out the progression that will only be halted through corporate repentance. It is the MOON that turns the tide, so start gravitating and reflecting the light of the SUN of Righteousness!
Evangelists, it’s time to get out in front of the rootless offended tomato throwers (Matt 13:20-21) and hopeless wailers (Lk 8:52), stop the coffin professions (Lk 7:14) and release life (Jn 11:43-44)!
