Woo hoo! I’ve been released to start teaching on The Law Through the Eyes of Jesus!
The purpose of this course is to start breaking off the blindness that has the body of Christ in snared in pits. I declare the time has come for us to cry out, “Restore! Restore!” (Isaiah 42) We will dismantle the strongmen of the Spirit of Slumber/Stupor (Is 29) and doctrine of Balaam (Num 22-25, Rev 2:14) off the body of Christ by teaching to walk in victory over sin instead of compromising with it. If we do not know God’s commandments, we do not know what sin is, and therefore we don’t know what to repent of nor how to love our God, ourselves, or our neighbours.
For the first part of this course that I will be doing through Facebook Live videos and written blogs here, I will be laying some foundation on why the Law of God, also known as the commandments of God, are still very much relevant for today. Knowing and obeying God’s commandments are key to:
– Developing the fear of the LORD
– Having an intimate relationship with God and not merely a form of godliness without power
– Having eternal life
– Having victory over the kingdom of darkness
– Living a blessed life free from the curses listed in the scriptures
– Having unity within the true body of Christ
– Loving God, yourself, and others
– Increasing your spiritual sight and hearing
– Being great in the Kingdom of Heaven
– Identifying the false prophets from the true prophets
– Being a disciple of Jesus and how to train up other disciples
– Discerning legalism from obedience.
– How to ascend into glory with clean hands and a pure heart.
The second part will delving deeply into the 613 commandments in the Law of Moses through the eyes of Jesus, unpacking the spirit of the law which brings life. Yes, they are still relevant to us today and yes, we are still required to obey them! No excuses! Jesus himself said that if we love him, we must obey His commandments. We will know who truly know God by the evidence of obedience to His commandments in their lives. We will know them by their fruit. It’s just that we need to first come to Jesus Christ that we may have the veil over our hearts removed to be able to truly understand how the Law of Moses is the legal system for the Kingdom of Heaven, which is in the spirit realm and not merely fleshly commandments.
