Part 2: Triple Crown and the Preakness Stakes as a Prophetic Voice
For those who know me personally, I am NOT a sports fan. So when my phone starts lighting up with sports news on horse racing, my children are having dreams about horses, and my husband is talking about having an unction to go looking at horse stables, I sit up and pay attention. I discovered that 3 races make up the Triple Crown, which happens in late spring of the year – the Kentucky Derby (the Land of Tomorrow for those who wear a round crown upon their heads), the Preakness Stakes (The provision at Quail Woods), and Belmont Stakes (What’s happening on the mountain of Ba’al).
I was immediately reminded of the 21st Hebrew letter Shin/Sin that has 3 legs, similar to a curvy W, and wears a crown, or tagin, to differentiate between the S or the SH sound. The letter shin represents the word Shaddai, a name meaning the God of Israel or Almighty God. Pictograph is symbolic of flames of fire (consuming fire that purifies gold or consumes chaff) or teeth (for consumption).
Deut 9:4 – Understand therefore this day, that the Lord thy God is he which goeth over before thee; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before thy face: so shalt thou drive them out, and destroy them quickly, as the Lord hath said unto thee.”
Isaiah 41:14-16 – 14 Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the Lord, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. 15 Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff. 16 Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice in the Lord, and shalt glory in the Holy One of Israel. (**This also leapt out due to the severity and frequency of tornadoes going through America this year plus what I released earlier about Shavuot.)
Apparently, this year was the 144th race of the Preakness Stakes and the 145th race of the Kentucky Derby. The Kentucky Derby ah-ha’s had more of a personal bent to them so I won’t release them here. However, the Preakness Stakes is more general. When I was questioning if I was simply “seeing the prophetic in everything” or if this was truly the LORD, I heard the verse “The LORD does nothing without first revealing it to His prophets.” (Amos 3:7) “How is a horse race a prophetic voice?” I pondered. My small thinking was gently rebuked. “How are those who are not tapped into the prophetic circles going to hear what I am about to do? Those who have ears to hear will hear. Those who are ignorant will remain ignorant still.” Rocks and trees and the stars in the heavens were witnesses in the scriptures. Rabbi Jonathan Cahn has shown how world events and buildings prophesy so I humbly put my prejudice aside and waited to see what He would say to me that I may write for those who would run with it. The LORD has also been showing me things in Numbers 11 about the circumstances and consequences behind the provision of quail so there was confirmation there to proceed with posting this.
At the very beginning of the Preakness stakes race, Bodexpress threw his jockey and continued on with the race. A person tried to intervene but Bodexpress continued to race with the pack to the very end, even completing a victory lap after the race ended. Bode means messenger or shelter. Jockey is a person who rides horses but this time, I saw “ride” in a different light, as one who controls or negatively pressures others. Earlier this month, the LORD showed me that horses can represent congregation members under a Pharaoh’s control, who uses the strength of those under him to build his own kingdom. Deut 17:14-20 warns Kings not to multiply horses unto himself .Another definition of jockey is to struggle by every available means to gain or achieve something, to handle or manipulate things or people in a skillful manner, and more positively – an underwear brand! A Jock is one who is proud, a vain sports guy viewed as a sex symbol.
In a nutshell, the overall hidden message from that specific event of the horserace that was plastered on the news for all to hear was that the messenger of the LORD’s covenant and protective shelter is throwing off his controller who was full of pride and manipulation. This lines up with the ongoing theme that God is humbling those who refused to repent of a Jezebel and Pharaoh stronghold, which namely is hinged upon controlling others.
When I saw the winning order of the race and the horses’ names pop up without my searching, my spirit leapt at the confirmation within their hidden message also.
The war of the wills is between our self-will vs submission to God’s will. Surrender and submission are two different heart attitudes even if they result in the same outward behaviour. Surrender denotes compliance through defeat and loss of rights. The Israelites surrendered to the control of the Egyptian taskmasters. Submission, on the other hand, is a maintaining their rights while voluntarily submitting to the authority of another. It will require overcoming the fear of man and submitting to the fear of the LORD. Fear of man is a snare to men. Pharaohs will be losing their brick layers.
Those who have overcome their season of testing and come through the purifying fires with grace are going to see the waiting period of those double portion promises start to manifest everfast, just like King Hezekiah’s angelic deliverance from King Sennacherib and Rabshekah. We will see the young warrirors that made it through the valley of the shadow of death unscathed arise in their new found freedom, charging to possess their promises. No longer will they tolerate those in leadership to ride / control them, to manipulate and hold them back under the guise of “This is the safe and proper way of running God’s race.” No longer will they run hindered and beset by the weight of sin. No longer will they tolerate those cutting in on their race who keep them from obeying the truth. They will stay in their lane and run in the path of God’s commandments, for God has broadened their understanding.
The fox that destroys the tender vine will no longer be laughing as the improbable as the possible manifests when submitted to God and the foxes are forced to flee. Those seated in heavenly places will be the ones left laughing as they will see not only double portions but triple increase.
The manifestation of some people’s promises and not others will result in a war over the new wine. The true prophetic will warn the body of Christ to repent (which results in blessings) or face judgment vs the false prophetic that has people staggering in deep sleep. (**In Isaiah 29, the reason they were cursed with a spirit of deep sleep is because they feared the LORD by the traditions of men, worshiping with their lips while their hearts were far from Him. )
The signal of which man to follow is their fruit – you shall know them by their fruit. Is their fruit vine wild and poisoning the pot of the sons of the prophets or is it growing in submission within the frame of God’s holy covenant? What some will see as a mere twist of fate, those with eyes to see will recognize God’s favour or judgment upon people.
Stay deep in God’s word, for those who mine the depths for the hidden treasures will be blessed financially in seasons to come as God releases those revelatory treasures for all to gaze upon. Guard your heart against being a lone ranger. Failure to submit to healthy authority that maximizes the strengths of his team to grow THEIR fruit will result in being disqualified from the race for the crown.
From here, the next post will bunny trail over to WHAT godly eldership looks like and some ah-ha’s there. When we are resolute in walking out of strongholds, the devil will try to push us too far the other way into the opposing ditch instead of staying balanced on the narrow path between the ditches. Then I’ll get back to posting part 3 (eventually :D).
