The LORD recently gave me a very vivid, tangible prophetic picture of the church being pregnant with the wind of death, as Isaiah 26:18 calls it but also showed the promise of what was coming.
Isaiah 26: 18 We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.
This will be a very transparent blog but simply delivering the punchline without understanding the process won’t make much sense. For those who have been following my writings, you know our entire family fasted from Dec 31st – Feb 20th, with me doing a strict juicing-only fast for 52 days and losing 30 lbs. On March 1st, much to our shock we discovered we were pregnant. Immediately, both my husband and I didn’t feel the same connection to this pregnancy as past ones. God had our attention but we weren’t sure for what. March 7th, an ultrasound confirmed the pregnancy except it wasn’t a normal pregnancy. There was no heartbeat or visible fetus for that matter. However, the dates could have been wrong due to fasting throwing cycles off so a repeat ultrasound was done March 29th. Again, the gestational sac had grown but there was still no fetus for a heartbeat to be found beating within. This phenomena is called a blighted ovum. Conception has taken place but because there was no nourishment of the relationship, intimacy never developed and death occurred.
I was pregnant with the wind of death. As long as I was pregnant with the wind of death, my womb could not be filled with a fruitful pregnancy. My midwives prepared me for what to expect for natural miscarriage and we surrendered my body to the LORD to have His way.
March 31st, my body enforced a violent eviction of death with a full blown hemorrhage, resulting in needing EMS to intervene. We got an up close and personal understanding of the phrase, “life is in the blood” as we watched my life drain away and my blood pressure plummet to 60/30 (the last reading I remember anyway). My body shut down my limbs and vision, in attempts to keep my core alive. When spiritual sleep came upon the church, Our prophets, rulers, and seers lost their sight, wisdom and discernment. We lost our hands and feet – our ability to love the LORD with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves.
Although there was talk of prep for blood transfusions and emergency surgery, I had such peace from God that I wasn’t going to die. I wouldn’t lose my womb. And I declared to everyone around me so. He had everything under control in the midst of all the chaos in the natural realm. Me being me, since my tongue was one part that was still functional, I started preaching to them about the need for repentance before it’s too late and the power of God to do the impossible when we surrender to Him as our LORD and Saviour, to not only remove our sins but heal our consciences as well and empower us to live out of love. We don’t need a substitute for the blood of Jesus. It is powerful enough on its own!
The church is about to experience a violent hemorrhaging eviction of death that will seem to those who are observing with their natural eyes like it will cause death itself to the church but be assured, it is not as it seems! The purpose is to bring back fruitfulness into the church. The intensive seizure-like shakings are not to destroy the Body but rather to hasten the eviction process to position us for what is to come. If God allowed us to go at our comfortable fleshly pace, we would end up toxic with infection. During this purging season, the blood of Jesus will pour freely upon all who willingly reject every shred of death that has attached itself to their bodies, their souls, and their spirits just as freely as the washing of the water of the word fills and cleanses us from the inside out.
And when it feels like it will never end, we will suddenly be pronounced at the time of perfection and completion that we are discharged, confounding all the professional onlookers and church itself as God manifests His power to make the impossible possible. His blood is sufficient. His resurrection power will manifest. The reset button will be pushed and God himself will declare, “Let this be the year of Abiding Fruitfulness still yet!” We will be found lacking nothing.
When judgment times hit the church, and judgment first comes to the house of the LORD, it is to restore fruitfulness and vibrant life where it had ceased. Judgment is actually a form of mercy because it draws us back into His embrace if we are willing. We can embrace it or fight against it but we can’t stop it, so I suggest you get with the program. Look at the verses following the one above with being pregnant with the wind for the coming promise of resurrection power!
Isaiah 26: 19 Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. 20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. 21 For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.
Back at the beginning of March, the LORD had revealed the name Gloria Hope. As we sought the LORD to unpack everything, He explained that the church has been pregnant with the glory that wasn’t and the hope that wasn’t, which has shut up the womb of fruitfulness over the last 42 years. (I released a blog post last week that unpacks the timing surrounding Ichabod and Bob Jones’ prophesy about the glory returning). Seasons and eras rarely suddenly stop and suddenly start. They transition. Over the last 2 years since the judgment of the spirit of slumber over the church lifted, the church has been waking up and realizing they have been feeding on a wild vine that has poisoned the pot and brought death. Now the LORD is evicting that empty glory and hopelessness in order to usher in the greatest demonstration of His glory and hope the Bride has ever seen before. Embrace the eviction process with eager anticipation of what this paves the way for! Enter into His secret place to strengthen yourselves until the indignation be overpast. Yes, the shakes and the cramps will be uncomfortable but chose to walk in the Spirit and by the Spirit. The Glory and the Hope that is coming will be more than worth it!
