Romans 1:18 – For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.
From my journaling this morning as I meditated on Romans 1:18:
(Abba Father) Now go back to Romans 1:18 – what provoked my wrath?
(me) Ungodliness and unrighteousness of men because they held the truth in unrighteousness.
(Abba Father) My character and nature are being blasphemed by unrighteousness. When the world sees my bride, they should see me. You are created in the image of the Most High God. Are you a good mirror image or a funny mirror from a horror house? Does the world see peace, holiness, truth, courage, justice? Or do they see fear, compromise, waffling, injustice? I hate sin. I have given men the option to separate themselves freely from sin through my son Jesus Christ. Whether they do or not is no longer my choice but theirs. However, sin must be judged. Come to me and buy bread without money and wine without a credit card. I freely give to those who come to me, but remember, they can only come to me through the blood of Jesus Christ who has created the way to the Father. I am a Holy God and in my presence there is a demand for holiness. The irreverence of my people must go and be replaced with a holy reverential fear and awe of my presence. How else do they think the world will value or respect what they claim to hold so dear? Others will give value to what you portray to give value to. If you do not value yourself, others will not value you either. If you do not value your God with utmost esteem, no one else will either. The Fear of the LORD must return to My people and THEN you will see a great outpouring of My fear upon those I desire to call to myself. That will be the great dividing line – one side will be the yare fear of the LORD and for others, unfortunately, they will experience the pachad fear (terror) of the LORD because they chose to align themselves with the wrong side. Even to the end of the age in Revelation, there will be those who are Mine and those who refuse to repent of their wickedness and as such will experience extreme torment. But I gave them the choice. They shake their fists at God in defiant pride when they blindly ignore that it is their own doing, not mine. I protect My own.
