The time of fullness has come. Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand! “If it’s all doom and gloom why bother to repent? If I’ve screwed up with one measely law, I’ve broken them all! So why bother?”
Jesus’ instructions to His disciples were, “And as ye go, preach, saying the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand! Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils. Freely ye have received. Freely give!”
This isn’t about your sin! Jesus already paid the price for your sin, once and for all. This is really about your heart. The question is, have you actually humbled yourself enough to receive His free gift of forgiveness for your sin and give your heart wholly to our Heavenly Father? With all due respect, get over yourself and get your focus on God! This is about bringing God’s Kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven. And there is no sick, no dying, no crying in Heaven and THAT”S why you are to repent of your sin so that you can be a walking piece of heaven here on earth. The Kingdom of Heaven is supposed to be within us! God’s word is to be hidden within our hearts that we might not sin against Him. Out of the heart, the mouth speaks. So we can tell if the Kingdom of Heaven is inside of you based on what comes out of your mouth. Is it a life-giving fountain???
I’m bold enough to believe it when God declares in His word that he heals ALL sickness and ALL disease. He forgives ALL iniquities and heals ALL diseases. Notice the order! Those who touched the hem (kanaph) of Jesus were healed. Numbers 15:37-40 tells us why –“ 37 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, 38 Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue: 39 And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and REMEMBER all the commandments of the LORD, and DO THEM ; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which ye use to go a whoring: 40 That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and BE HOLY unto your God.”
People stand up in their unbelief and cry, “But I wasn’t healed. Are you calling me a sinner???” They point fingers at others, “But look at that healing minister who died of a disease! God wouldn’t do that to His own servant!” They blame God and others, all the while either willfully or ignorantly choosing to not take responsibility. God calls us children. And according to Proverbs, children come in 4 categories – the wise, the simple, the fool, and the scoffer. Deuteronomy 7 shows us these healing promises are conditional based on what WE chose to do.
Deuteronomy 7: 9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations; 10 And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be slack to him that hateth him, he will repay him to his face. 11 Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them. 12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, IF YOU HEARKEN to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers: 13 And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.14 Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle.15 And the LORD will TAKE AWAY FROM THEE ALL SICKNESS, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; BUT WILL LAY THEM UPON ALL THEM THAT HATE THEE.
Jesus warned the adulterous woman he spared from stoning, “Go and sin no more.” He told the man he healed at the pool of Bethesda, “Sin no more lest a worse thing come upon you.” God’s mercy is ready to pour out for those willing to receive it but it comes with a sobering responsibility for us to straighten up our lives so that we do not trample His covenant of grace underfoot. God already displayed His unconditional love for us. Now the question is, will we display our unconditional love for God for all to see His glory manifesting in our lives?
