This was originally written in response to someone who declared that we have private interpretations of scripture, so what is ok for me may not be ok for you and everything is relative (aka Christian humanism). They were using that lie as an excuse to break a “Thou shalt not…” commandment and enjoy the pleasures of the flesh that brought them into blood covenants with demons. However, my longwindedness exceeded FB’s response limitation of 8000 characters. Thankfully, I saved it. Then this afternoon, I felt prompted to post it publicly. I pray it will help illuminate some lies that have been robbing people of the fulness God has destined for them.

If you are without the Baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 8 & 19) AND the Law of Moses, then yes, you’re spiritually blind and stuck trying to figure out the Bible with the carnal fleshly mind (instead of the mind of Christ), and you will interpret the scriptures a myriad of ways as we can see the thousands of different denominational doctrines that are powerless. The Holy Spirit illuminates the soul (menorah in the inner court) and the Law converts the soul (Law within the Holy of Holies; we are the temple of the Holy Spirit).
Psalm 19:7 – The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
The clue on HOW to develop unity of understanding within the Body of Christ.
2 Peter 1:20 – Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
So what is the Prophecy of the Scripture?
Revelation 19:10 – And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
So, what is the “testimony of Jesus”? The Law of Moses in the spirit of the Law. John the Baptist declared Jesus was Jehovah come in the flesh. Isaiah prophesied about John the Baptist preparing the way for Jehovah. It was Jehovah who gave the TESTIMONY (the law) to Moses on Mount Sinai. Now, without coming TO Jesus Christ (and not merely words on a page of the Bible like the Pharisees who were sons of the devil that went regularly to a religious building), the veil will remain over their hearts and not be able to understand the Law. It will simply be a legalistic list of to do’s and don’ts without any personal relationship with Jesus Christ where His sheep HEAR and OBEY His voice. If your faith is all about the scriptures but void of the Holy Spirit that requires humility to receive and will be evidenced of love beginning to pour through you, if you are all brains but your heart has been shut off, then you are a Pharisee. Rejoice! Acknowledging your reality is the first step toward repentance and freedom, just like Nicodemus! Overcoming religious pride is the hardest for heartless Bible thumpers because not only are they fighting the stronghold of the mental Knowledge in their souls (mind, will, emotions) but also a spirit of Leviathan (pride) & Behemoth (self-righteousness). They lack the KNOWING that is birthed in their hearts through the Fear of the LORD that requires intimacy & relationship with the Heavenly Father. Those things CAN be overcome! Hallelujah!
2 Cor 3:14-17 – But their minds were BLINDED: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. 15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. 16 Nevertheless when it (*their heart) shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
John 5:37-40 – And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape. 38 And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not. 39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye THINK ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. 40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.
So, what is the Veil/vail over their hearts? It’s an uncircumcised heart.
Deut 10:12-16 – 12 And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, 13 To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good? 14 Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the Lord’s thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is. 15 Only the Lord had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day. 16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked (**stubborn in doing your OWN soulish will instead of God’s will).
Jeremiah 4:3-4 – For thus saith the Lord to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among THORNS. 4 Circumcise yourselves to the Lord, and take away the foreskins of your heart, ye men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem: lest my fury come forth like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings. (**Cross reference Isaiah 42:19-25 re: fury coming forth like a fire)
The new covenant is a circumcised heart with the Law written upon it and filled with power of the Holy Spirit which is evidence of being born again in the Spirit. Failure to manifest obedience of the Law AND the power of the Holy Spirit demonstrates one is NOT under the New Covenant of Jesus Christ. They are simply religious, destined for hell unless they chose to REPENT (change their thoughts and actions) of their sin, which is defined by the Law, and walk into obedience empowered by the Holy Spirit, bringing forth visible fruit of repentance.
Jeremiah 31:33-34 – But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all KNOW me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Ezekiel 36:26-27 – A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
1 John 2:3-5 – 3 And hereby we do know that we KNOW him, if we keep his commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the TRUTH is not in him. 5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
2 Thess 2:8-12– And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: 9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the LOVE OF THE TRUTH, that they might be saved. 11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: 12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
John 14:15 – If you LOVE me, KEEP (*cherish, obey from the heart and not merely outward obedience) My commandments.
Rev 22:14 – 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
(**So those who do NOT keep His commandments do NOT have eternal life / access to the tree of life, regardless of what church doctrine says that the Law has been done away with. Back up a bit. What does Jesus say about THORNS since we are to break up the fallow ground & not to sow among thorns? Jesus knew those listening knew this passage in Jeremiah when he told the parable of the Sower. You can’t interpret the New Testament accurately if you have tossed the Old Testament out on its ear and vice versa. The Bible interprets itself, if you are willing to surrender your perspective to see HIS perspective. Jeremiah said that those who sow among thorns have UNCIRCUMCISED hearts. Jesus clarifies that uncircumcised heart as one who HEARS the word, but the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke out the word and it becomes UNFRUITFUL. Bring forth FRUIT meet for repentance. Being a hearer but not a doer results in self-deception. Paul clarifies another layer that a true Jew is one whose heart is circumcised, and not of the flesh. As much as the ancestry hype and media push about “DNA Jews”, the Bible defines itself.

This is he which received seed by the way side. 20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; 21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. 22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. 23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
Romans 2:28-29 – 28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
James 1: 22 – But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
So the GOOD NEWS? When your eyes and ears are opened as you come TO Jesus Christ, the Living Word, and you walk into obedience, you and your family will be healed of that which the medical system tells you is incurable. There is ALWAYS hope with Jesus Christ, the Hope of Glory, when He is within you!
