This past summer, the LORD gave us some wild-for-us instructions to walk out that had many old paradigms discovering their new home was a proverbial trash can. We tried to wrap our hearts around new-to-us blueprints for how to step into the new season. Last December 2021 when an unexpected, unknown young man showed up at our door with his sister, I heard so clearly, “That’s Mikayla’s husband.” To be honest, my immediate reaction was, “Devil, I rebuke you! She’s too young to be talking about marriage!” Well, we don’t get to choose the paths for our lives as a prophetic family. God does, and we’ve learned submission will ALWAYS bring blessings & fruitfulness, no matter how crazy the instructions are. As it turned out, my husband and she had heard the same thing and everyone else with ears to hear in our home for an eventual confirmation of 9 people, including Noah’s own mother. God knew 2 or 3 witnesses just wasn’t enough to quell my mother’s heart.
Now, imagine all these people having this prophetic word being in the same environment each week trying their hardest to pretend they didn’t have that knowledge. It was quite a comical egg-shell dance of trying not to spill the overflowing beans. Well, that didn’t last for long, especially when God knits hearts together on multiple tangents manifesting with relationships that FEEL like you’ve known the person for years. Within a matter of months, Mikayla came to both of us for a closed door meeting and shared her journaling she had gotten at the beginning. Now that we had confirmation God had already confirmed it to HER, because we didn’t dare say anything to her out of fear of pressuring her into God’s future for her, I opened up and shared what I got. My husband’s head spun around in shock, confirming he too had heard the same thing but was trying his hardest to pretend he didn’t. At this point, we were so loud, her brother overheard and came running in to confirm he had also had a dream a while back, wondering when God would catch us slowpokes up to speed. Welcome to a prophetic family!
But had God confirmed his plans to Noah??? We had to ensure there was absolutely no pressure or manipulation, for marriage is a lifetime thing. He had shown no indication of interest, if anything a leaning more towards avoidance. After all, there had been a very clear boundary laid out by him that he was NOT interested in dating whatsoever that we completely agreed with. He repeatedly verbalized that he viewed our children like an extension of his own brothers and sisters (his family of 10 to our family of 7+2). The day I took him for a walk around the block “for privacy”, the poor guy looked like he was being taken to the woodshed. I had confirmed his prophetic calling the second time he showed up at our home so if I needed privacy, it MUST be to dish out some correction? Nope, this walk was to start investigating what had God told him about his future without constant interruptions. Imagine the relief on his face after several cycles around the block that he no longer had to hide what God had told him YEARS ago, documented in his journals that he later showed us, and confirmed by the LORD upon seeing Mikayla for the first time, also!
Once the veil of protective secrecy was lifted and everyone could throw the egg-shells out, now we had to figure out what on earth was God up to. How do you walk a path when you KNOW who your future husband is from such a young age but don’t know the time of the wedding or why we ALL needed to know so early? Everyone pressed into prayer that led to umpteen transparent group conversations and a whole pile of researching as He began to birth this foreign concept of betrothal in our hearts.
One day, God threw a monkey wrench into everyone’s ponderings with the confirmed instruction to accelerate the process. Betrothal was to happen in a matter of WEEKS and done publicly. What??? She’s almost 14. It’s too soon!!! Well, as it turned out, everything worked perfectly as it always does when God is the Master of Ceremonies. Daddy & Noah received the downloads of the Betrothal Ring (that will later be replaced with the official wedding ring). I received the download of the specific location to get the ring, who was able to make things happen right on time. In the past, he had created a special custom 24K gold ring based on a prophetic word for me and was quite intrigued with this new prophetic exercise. Her 14th birthday party was already on the schedule with local family and friends. God gave each of us the locations of where to find semi-formal attire for pennies on the dollar. A friend gifted in party planning & décor was off work and volunteered to transform our property. We had obeyed God’s weird instructions to get battery pack amps and microphones months earlier without knowing why but they were on sale and I had been gifted an electric piano, so we already had an outdoor friendly sound system for the music team. His sister was the videographer. The right people who needed to be there were there. Watching God pull together so many details so quickly was fascinating and had us in awe of His intricate plans fitting together like a 1000 piece puzzle within moments, smoothly without chaos. There was such a grace upon the roll out of this prophetic act, we KNEW God was flowing mightily and even the coming together was a prophetic act of what was to come for the Bride of Christ in the days ahead. There was no way possible it could have happened without Him in such a short period of time.
We planned the event to have the birthday party first and then giving people the option to leave early before popping the surprise betrothal, giving God room to orchestrate the right people being present as witnesses for the big reveal. While Daddy and Noah ran the majority of the night proving just how natural they were behind microphones with a crowd, I was given a few moments to release the following prophetic revelations:

Our Working Definition of Betrothal: A virgin couple being set apart in holiness and virgin purity for each other in voluntary agreement with Holy Spirit’s rhema, that this young man and woman will one day be married in holy matrimony, having been confirmed with two or three witnesses (9 in our case).
Noah and Mikayla being betrothed at this time at her 14th birthday celebration in this family is a prophetic act of what the LORD Jesus Christ is about to do in the earth as the Consecrated Warriors enter into covenant with Rest as they successfully graduate into their new beginning of resurrection power. We are entering into a season where being a pure betrothed bride will become an honorable thing. At a time when on one side, the Daughters of Babylon will be widowed and become childless in a single day (Ps 136, Isaiah 47), when the Adulterous & Fornicating Bride will have her glory removed by the LORD Himself (Rev 2), the flip side is that the LORD is also betrothing a chaste virgin to be His Bride, evidenced by the seal of the baptism of the Holy Spirit (Eph 1:13-14) that is given to those who obey His commandments (Acts 5:32). We will see this manifest as the Third Great Awakening becomes more obvious in the days to come. Tim Sheets has prophesied that we are entering the 3rd Mega-Pentecost. I received last November 2021 that come October 2022, His pure bride will be given the Grace to endure bitter times with Favour, a day of Thanksgiving!
Provision Within Covenant:
One of the commandments in the Book of the Law is that a husband is required to provide for his wife food, clothing, and intimacy (Ex 21:10). Going into this 7 years of dearth with a prophesied global famine, Jesus as our betrothed husband will uphold His part of the covenant to be our Provider where those who are covenanted to other idols will be in dearth. (All of Lev 26 & Deut 28, Malachi 3) Our responsibility is to be faithful ourselves to our betrothal covenant by obeying the Spirit of the Law through the eyes of Jesus, so that we are not found going a-whoring after other providers. Those who remain or step outside the Kingdom of Heaven will suffer lack. (Matt 5:19, Rom 11:20-22)
Rev 21:6-8 KJV – 6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. 7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 KJV – 9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
Cutting Muster:
“Fornicators, liars, slanderers, and the like will not cut muster.” When Holy Spirit spoke that to me as I was awake with Atarah in the wee hours of July 1st, 2022. “Cut Muster” is a combination between two sayings that evolved into each other. “Pass the Muster” and “Cut The Mustard”. “Pass the Muster” has been used since the 16th century, defined as “formal military inspection”. A more modern way of saying that is “To cut the mustard” defined as “to reach or surpass the desired standard or performance”. The key to “cut muster” is to plumbline to scripture and operate in the reverential fear of the LORD, birthed out of the baptism and power of the Holy Spirit, in all that we think, say, and do.
Hand washing:
This past week I woke up from a waking dream of hands being washed in a bowl. Immediately it reminded me of 2 references:
James 4:8 KJV – 8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
Psalm 24:3-6 NLT 3 Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord?
Or who may stand in His holy place?
4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart,
Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol,
Nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive blessing from the Lord,
And righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6 This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him,
Who seek Your face. Selah
We are in a season where the LORD Jesus is inviting the world to cleanse our outward actions of sin, which is disobedience both doing what we ought not to and not doing what we ought to do, and purifying our hearts before His judgments land. Although the plagues landed upon Egypt, the last 7 did not land upon Goshen – “Drawing Near”. We know there were many who crossed over during the progressing plagues because Israel went through the Red Sea with a mixed multitude.
This turnaround generation on a mega-scale is going to ascend into His glory as they passionately seek His face. They will walk in His blessings and righteousness that former generations that welcomed culture into the church failed to possess. Our current culture may LOOK hopeless, but God works best in the impossible situations. Where sin does abound, Grace does MORE abound! He is raising up young standard bearers who will be able to demonstrate to their own peers what is possible with our relationships centered upon the LORD Jesus Christ, solidly upon the ROCK of His foundation.
Noah, representing the men, will lead us into this prophetic act of hand washing and then he will wash Mikayla’s hands, for it is the husbands and fathers who are commanded to love their wives like Christ loved His bride by washing their wives with the Word.
Ephesians 5:25-28 – 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, 26 that He might [g]sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, 27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. 28 So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself.
Sharing communion:
Another dream I had this week was of Noah taking communion then sharing his cup with Mikayla. Because this betrothal is a prophetic act of what Jesus Christ did by giving his life as the ultimate bride price for his betrothed, it is fitting to recognize the magnitude of what is often turned into a church tradition, a to-do to tick off the church service list. Culture has lost the preciousness and weightiness of holy covenants; therefore, it’s easy to lose the magnitude of taking communion. Not only was communion a picture of the forgiveness of sins, it was also the picture of entering into covenant of betrothal with Jesus Christ and our agreement to uphold the covenantal purity. Noah and Mikayla are covenanting before God and the witnesses here that they will stay pure for each other until their wedding day, by the power of the Holy Spirit. The Bride of Christ is also declaring by taking the communion of covenant of his blood that she is covenanting to keep herself pure and holy before the LORD. The penalty of fornication for those not yet betrothed and adultery for those who are betrothed and married is death. A betrothal in the bible, as Joseph and Mary demonstrated by thinking to put pregnant Mary away quietly, could only be broken by divorce. Jesus redeemed the adulterous woman from her penalty of death by stoning by telling her “Go and sin no more!”
John 3:17 – For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
Noah is first of all reaffirming his covenant to be a pure bride to Jesus Christ as well as a betrothed groom-to-be to Mikayla to remain pure. As Mikayla takes the cup from Noah, she is also covenanting with both God and Noah to remain a pure chaste virgin until their wedding day.
Hosea’s Redemption of the Adulterous Bride:
One of the themes that have come up during our Holy Spirit-led conversations is Hosea’s prophetic act of marrying a harlot with children from harlotry and then the redemption process of buying her back off the auction block for the same price paid to the master of a slave gored by an ox and the ox was to be stoned. Today, the oxen is representative of the church leaders who tried to pull God’s presence upon the man-made church system and stumbled during COVID, the oxen who were treading out the grain. The church system caused the Bride of Christ to be turned into a slave on many fronts, slaves to demonic bondage, slaves to man-made systems and uncircumcised leaders, serving man-made kingdoms, and even slaves under the yoke of earthly governmental authority systems evidenced by the churches operating under submission of non-profit business corporations instead of free to serve Jesus Christ as the true head of the Church. The last century has resulted in a culture of whoredoms that are in desperate need of redemption.
Gomer was redeemed with 15 pieces of silver and the barley the value of another 15 pieces of silver = value of 30 pieces of silver, the price of a murdered slave. Judas was paid 30 pieces of silver to betray Jesus to his death, as he was gored by the spear of the land’s authorities. He took our place to pay the price to redeem a bride from her slavery. As the stronghold of Jezebel over North America is being broken, we are going to see a the overwhelming tender & affection love of God pour out on the world to redeem her out of her slavery, binding up he bruises and healing her wounds, a love that the church system that served Baali could not give because they operated under a Jezebel stronghold that produces shame, fear, & control with abusive authority. We are already beginning to see Jeremiah 6:16a beginning to manifest in the earth.
Jeremiah 6:16a – Thus says the Lord, “Stand by the roads and look; ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is; then walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls…
Notice it says “Where the GOOD WAY is…” The church for the most part operated out of fear & avoidance of evil in the last era. Now we have shifted into the Kingdom Era where we will pursue the GOOD WAY that will make our relationship based upon love of Christ instead of fear of sin. An example. During many conversations with Noah and Mikayla and Holy Spirit about what this Betrothal would look like, one of the issues that came up was appropriate touch. With both of us parents growing up in pastor’s homes, we had been taught all the things NOT to do to the point any form of touch began to be deemed evil. We approached the conversation with “No holding hands, no kissing, No this or that.” Rather, Noah and Mikayla approached the conversation with the attitude of how they demonstrate brotherly love and tender affection towards one another as a brother and sister would. Where a Jezebel stronghold has perverted touch to be ONLY sexual & perverted, God is going to redeem healthy nurturing back into the family that will break the generational curse of emotional abandonment.
Why NOW?
Why not wait until Mikayla is 16 or 18 before we consider a betrothal? We pondered why Holy Spirit was accelerating stepping into this betrothal so quickly after we discovered the 9 confirmations of Holy Spirit speaking to each of us that Noah would be her husband. We felt the significance is on multiple fronts.
1) The Consecrated Warriors are entering into covenant with Rest BECAUSE they are acting in belief with Holy Spirit’s Rhema.
2) Confirming covenant BEFORE the 7 years of dearth upon the wicked and God’s judgments being poured out in the earth. Like the gentile & unlawful Moabitess Ruth pulling Boaz’s skirt over herself in a bold act of faith, we are INITIATING pulling on Jesus’ hem of His garment to shift in the Double Portion season. Although we don’t have a clear direct rhema, we recognize it’s a possibility they will not marry until after that 7 years when the Church completes her Decade of Fire (2020 – 2030).
3) The ending of 50 years of Roe Vs. Wade now must be filled with The New Thing = restoration of Purity, a love & honor for covenantal relationships and family life. The next wineskin will operate through families and their homes, not church buildings. We are shifting seasons from My Baali (Master) to My Ishi (Husband). Ishi, not Baali; that is, a term of tender affection, not of stern authority. “Ye shall serve me out of love, and not out of fear; Ishi denoting marriage and youthful love; baali, lordship and fear.” (Hosea 2:16) We are doing a prophetic act of what God will be birthing in the coming days and years as He, through His willing Bride, repairs the breach and desolation of many generations and restores that sweet intimacy that will be attractive and whet the appetite of a love-starved culture.
4) 14 = double 7’s. A multiple of 7, 14 partakes of its importance and, being double that number, implies a double measure of spiritual perfection. The number 7 is the foundation of God’s word. It symbolizes completeness and perfection (both physical and spiritual) and being tied directly to creation, the NEW THING.
