In my last blog of my downloads during Rosh Hashana 5784 and the 10 days of Awe, a main theme was that God would be separating the wheat from the chaff beginning this year with HIS winnowing fork…not to be confused with the devil’s pitchfork. So I went back through my blogs and copied old blog snippets on the word chaff. Apparently, it’s been quite a common theme over the last 7 years!
What is chaff, scripturally speaking?
Chaff:
- Ungodly (Ps 1:4 – H7563= guilty of sin; morally wrong; wicked; criminal…Cross Ref Matt 5:19 – those who teach others to break the least of God’s commandments are criminals, the least in Kingdom of Heaven)
- Wicked (Job 21:17-19, same as above)
- Strivers/fighters/persecutors of those who fear the LORD resulting in being chased by the Angel of the LORD. (Ps 35:1-5; Cross ref Ps 34:7)
- Those who cast away the Law and despise the [uttered, spoken, *rhema/prophetic] word of the Holy One of Israel. (Is 5:24)
- Multitude of terrible ones (Is 29:5, Terrible = fearful, i.e. powerful or tyrannical:—mighty, oppressor, in great power, strong, terrible, violent.)
- Breakers of God’s covenant [*meaning they disobeyed the covenantal conditions, spiritual adultery} (Is 33:8-11)
- Baal worshippers, sinners, idol worshippers (*unrepentant vaccinated ones; those who partnered with child sacrifice in its myriad of ways) (Hos 13:1-3)
- Burned up with unquenchable fire (*aka lake of fire, eternal hell) (Luke 3:17)
This reminded me of the wheat being carried into the barn but the tares would be thrown into the fire. (Matt 13:30) Those who are chaff / tares won’t make it but those who are wheat WILL make it.
Tares:
- G2215 – a kind of darnel, resembling wheat except the grains are black.
- *Mature wheat will humbly bow down under the weightiness of the kernels, whereas tares will proudly stand upright because there is no weight to them. Glory is weighty.
- *Black – the absence of light. The Law is Light. (Prov 6:23)
The ROOT word of Chaff is H4160 = squeezer, extortioner, oppressor!
Now, let’s put that back into this fleshed out verse.
Psalm 35:5-6 – Julia’s unpacked amplified version – “Let those who strive against, oppress, and attempt to kill those who fear the LORD and stand up against the Goliaths like David be as the useless chaff that suffocated & kept the water out of the wheat kernel thereby keeping it dormant. May the wicked squeezers/extortioners/oppressors be pressed out, winnowed, and threshed loose before the Wind (*That comes as the Storm): and let the angel of the LORD chase them (*even worse than they chased others*). Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them (*even worse than they persecuted others*).”
Psalm 9:16 KJV – The LORD is known by the judgment which He executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.
Luke 6:38 KJV – Give and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
So let’s go deeper and unpack some specifics of the root of the chaff and see if you get as excited as I am, knowing this is the category of people God is disciplining! Granted, if you fit in any of these categories instead of being in the persecuted category whether in employment settings or marriages or leadership environments, do not delay in racing to the LORD for forgiveness before it’s too late. I have been mentioning many prophets and witches alike know a portal is opening February 22, 2022 and I believe this download gives us clues as to WHAT will be coming through that portal. While the false prophets are declaring they are arresting and plundering the righteous, the righteous can now decree and declare all of Psalm 35 with the authority of those who rule and reign with God’s authority to trample upon serpents & scorpions and NOTHING shall by any means harm them. What Haman intended for evil to plunder the Jews, it backfired and Haman’s family line got plundered instead.
Squeeze:
· To press hard on or together; compress: squeezed the balloon until it popped.
· To extract or gain by intimidation or other pressure: squeezed information out of the suspect
· To pressure or intimidate (someone) to comply with a demand, as to make an extortion payment.
Extortion:
· Illegal use of one’s official position or powers to obtain property, funds, or PATRONAGE.
· The act or an instance of extorting something, as by psychological pressure.
· An excessive or exorbitant charge.
Patronage:
· the financial support or business provided to a store, hotel, or the like, by customers, clients, or paying guests.
· patrons collectively; clientele.
· the power of public officials to make appointments to government jobs or grant other favors to their supporters.
· the distribution of such jobs or favors.
· the jobs or favors so distributed.
· a condescending manner or attitude in granting favors, in dealing with people, etc.; condescension.
· the encouragement or support of a patron, as toward an artist or institution.
Oppress:
· To keep down by severe and unjust use of force or authority: a people who were oppressed by tyranny.
· To cause to feel worried or depressed: “People were at a loss … oppressed by the atmosphere of the dead man’s room” (Ward Just).
· To overwhelm or crush.
Another odd word was highlighted in my spirit while looking at someone’s prescription pill bottle –
Racketeer:
· A person who engages in an illegal business or other organized illegal activities.
BECAUSE of this COVID storm that has accelerated in intensity thanks to the pressure from the truckers convoy, we have gotten to see people’s previously hidden heart motives threshed up to a wider public exposure. What has been touted as conspiracy has been exposed to be truth. For example, PM Justin Trudeau’s love for communism and dictatorship was well documented in 2013 but previously ignored by the masses. Same for gene therapy vaccines that have been researched for decades with several reports that showed the devastating consequences to their animal studies. Now moms of newborns are being given a vaccine schedule for 98 shots, compared to 72 just a couple years ago, and 17 back when we were little. Pedophilia and gross corruption within government and churches alike that had been hidden has been exposed for all to see, with even more exposure coming soon. The infiltration of Claus Schwab’s WEF young leaders throughout the Canadian and other governments have become so obvious as they implement his agenda, thinking they are above the law. The communism, sexual perversion, transhumanism, witchcraft, and intentionally created identity crisis to devalue the next generation to make them more easily manipulated was exposed as parents suddenly got to see what their children were being taught by the public system during lockdowns and reacted in horror.
The threshing has exposed what was always there but hidden in plain sight under a flimsy covering. Shift that concept into the church world, business world, family life, or any of the 7 mountains of society. We’ve gotten to see those who had fertile seed inside and which ones simply had a whole pile of useless chaff. Anyone who has grown wheat can attest to the fact that not every seed head contains a genuine seed underneath the chaff. One cannot rectify a problem that they are unable to first recognize. In the coming days, we will look back at this storm and be so thankful for what it drew our attention to so that we could partner with God by manifesting His kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven.
Rhema – The glory of the LORD cannot light upon those who lack the foundational fear of the LORD.
– God is a consuming fire and it destroys chaff, wood, stubble, and hay. God’s glory falling upon His enemies and His disobedient children always resulted in death. God’s glory falling upon His children in covenant brought victory.
As those living stones come together in unity as the chaff is removed, the Body of Christ will take on a whole new dimension and reputation in the earth, from shame to double honor.
This will be a year of heaping coals upon our enemies so that the Wind may blow upon the chaff, preserving anything of value. This will open the eyes of the blind that the house of cards is the same as the 3 little pigs’ house of hay.
Isaiah 17:9-14 – 9 Their largest cities will be like a deserted forest, like the land the Hivites and Amorites abandoned when the Israelites came here so long ago. It will be utterly desolate. 10 Why? Because you have turned from the God who can save you. You have forgotten the Rock who can hide you. So you may plant the finest grapevines and import the most expensive seedlings. 11 They may sprout on the day you set them out; yes, they may blossom on the very morning you plant them, but you will never pick any grapes from them. Your only harvest will be a load of grief and unrelieved pain. 12 Listen! The armies of many nations roar like the roaring of the sea. Hear the thunder of the mighty forces as they rush forward like thundering waves. 13 But though they thunder like breakers on a beach, God will silence them, and they will run away. They will flee like chaff scattered by the wind, like a tumbleweed whirling before a storm. 14 In the evening Israel waits in terror, but by dawn its enemies are dead. This is the just reward of those who plunder us, a fitting end for those who destroy us.
A person who chooses to fear man instead of fearing the LORD is cursed. (King Saul is an example)
– They will be stripped. No robe of righteousness. No blessings of sonship.
– They will be spiritually blind, unable to see the goodness & mysteries & revelation of God.
– They will inhabit the dry places, which also happens to be where demons dwell.
– They lack the LIVING waters in their hearts.
– They will be in a salty, barren land. They will not be able to bear the fruit of the Spirit.
– The heat of a desert wilderness burns up the chaff, with nothing good left behind.
– Their heart will be far from the LORD.
– They will feel alone.
– Any water that rains upon the dry and thirsty land will evaporate in the heat and gone in a moment, never quenching their thirst in their souls.
– They have not put in the effort to cultivate their land, nor sow good seed into it, failing to remove the weeds that have grown into fruitless shrubs that suck nutrients from the already unhealthy soil. (*The Negev in Israel is an example of desert land being reclaimed and turned into vibrant, fruitful land by standing upon God’s promises in His word. Is 41:18; Is 35:7)
BLESSINGS FOR GOD’S OBEDIENT PEOPLE: – He will teach you.
– You’ll see and hear Him, guiding you in the way you should go.
– You’ll destroy all your idols and images.
– You’ll be blessed with rain at planting time, wonderful harvests, and provision for livestock.
– Those that till the ground will eat the good grain, now that the chaff has been blown away.
– Our enemies will be the ones falling in the great slaughter.
– You will rejoice like at the holy festivals (God’s feasts in Lev 23)
– The breath of the LORD, like a fire from a VOLCANO, will set ablaze Topheth – the Place of Burning (& child sacrifice).
