EZEKIEL 9 – IDOLATERS KILLED

A fellow blogger, Joyce,  shared with me a quick tweet of a post, which I had written a whole response to and then a screen flip lost everything. So now I write it out here.

God’s cleaning up city of Zion right now!

No more lukewarmness.

Ezekiel 9: Idolators Killed

– Interesting! This confirmed what I was getting in many dreams over the fasting season and again yesterday that left me in quite a somber mood after getting the same passage of scripture.

– Vs. 3 – the Glory of the LORD is coming to the threshold of the house of the LORD. The threshold was the place that when crossed over, they were now under the covering and protection of the owner of that house. which many have sung about – “Shekinah Glory come down!” holy spirit, come! We want to see your glory!” However, because they have not been taught God’s covenant, they have no clue what they are asking for! When they sing those words, they are actually calling down God’s judgment upon those who are covenant breakers, which classifies most people in this generation that call themselves Christians that are ignorant of the scriptures. In 2014, only 6% of Canadians read the bible ONCE a week. That means that over 94% of Canadians are illiterate of the scriptures, blindly trusting in churches to feed them the pure word of God. And of all the churches I’ve attended growing up in the church, not a single one ever taught God’s covenant line by line , precept upon precept because “it’s been done away with! We have Jesus!” Yet Jesus message was very clear, “Repent! For the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!” If it was truly done away with and all sin has been covered simply because he died 2000 years ago, there would be nothing to repent of now, would there??? Our understanding of being “covered by the blood” is sorely unlawful.

– Vs. 4 – God will be marking those who are grieved over the abominations in their land to be protected during the judgment. That means that they actually need to KNOW what an abomination is in the first place, meaning they need to know God’s Covenant, and then release the heart of God through lamentation and intercession filled with grief over His people’s sin instead of passively ignoring it or quietly “tolerating” the sin around them.

– Vs 5 – This confirms what the LORD told me during the fast – No longer mourn or even cry when God’s wrath is poured out upon the Pharaoh’s and Ahabs for the hardness of their proud hearts. They would have been warned 10 times yet still refused to repent.

– Vs. 6 – A couple years ago, Chuck Pierce released that it was the year of the Sword of the LORD. While everyone was so estatic about it, I was screaming, “NO! Please, God have mercy! Wake the people up to their sin before it’s too late!” A simple search of the scriptures shows that “The Sword of the LORD” means judgment. It resulted in the slaughter of 135,000 Midianites and then many more rebellious Israelites during the day of Gideon that refused to support God’s new, questionable move. It cost 70,000 of “innocent” Israelites because King David broke a grave commandment to not take a census of God’s people. Here in vs 6, judgment begins at the sanctuary and with the leaders of the church, then spreads outward. Whether God will allow people to repent in time by the skin of their teeth as they see the judgment hitting the church leaders or whether it will be too late by then, I do not know.

– Vs. 7 – The church buildings have become idols and as such, God will allow them to be defiled. I have seen in dreams and visions for years now many buildings will be emptying out in North America for one reason or another that I won’t go into detail here. God has calling his people to “Come out of Babylon, my people!” with even greater urgency since November 3, 2018 when I was woken out of a deep sleep by an audible voice. Babylon represented false religion. It was a very religious culture but they did not worship the Most High God. They worshiped the institution, the traditions, the religiosity, their sacred cows, for the social perks that provides a false sense of acceptance and approval and praises of man. There was no relationship or communication with the Most High God, just outward shows of religious piety. There was no love demonstrated back toward the Most High God by obeying His commandments (John 14:15). While Babylon is used in seasons to bring judgment and slavery and bondage upon God’s people, eventually the time comes when judgment will hit Babylon.

– Vs. 8 – The reason for this outpouring of wrath is because of Israel and Judah’s iniquity. How many people in today’s churches can honestly thoroughly list out what God constitutes as iniquity? People cannot repent of that which they do not know is sin and it certainly isn’t a topic most churches will touch because it doesn’t tickle the ears. They cannot repent of the iniquity of their forefathers if they are ignorant of what iniquity is in the first place! That’s why in Ezra and again in Nehemiah – 2 books that give us the template of what the return of the remnant will look like – they had to educate the remnant in God’s Law who had passionately left everything they knew to go rebuild the temple. Did you catch that? The temple builders were ignorant of God’s laws, like most preachers exiting modern day Bible colleges! Being introduced to God’s law with understanding, which comes only through the Fear of the LORD, did not result in legalism (which is idolatry of works) but resulted in heartfelt sorrow and grief and true repentance that brought transformation. Apostle Paul addressed this in Romans 10:2 when he said that he bore record of those that had a zeal of God but not according to knowledge.

So why would God, who we always hear in church is a “Good, Good Father”, who is a God of Love, allow such wrath to pour out upon His church? BECAUSE He is a Good, Good father, who disciplines the children that he loves so that they mature up and become responsible, fruitful citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven. BECAUSE He is a refiner’s fire and fuller’s soap to purge us as gold and silver that we may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness, which is obedience to God’s commandments. It is the just, another word for righteousness and in right standing with God’s commandments, that will see the wealth transfer, not the wicked, another word for disobedient. It is the bastards, those who refuse chastisement and scouring of a loving father, that will not receive the inheritance that goes to rightful heirs.
